I love number 7 the up and under into a dunk he does on luc longley which is impossible to do on 2k15. Number 5 was sexy as well back down into a turn around dunk on Yao, get chills when the commentator yells out "O'Neill strong!" . Like someone else said would love to be able to dominate the post physically like this, would have so much fun.

That Shaq aggressive backdown then step through and dunk is something you can't perform in 2K. I just want signature post game with appropriate defensive counters and probably some fatigue effect so that moves can't be cheesed. What I am saying is don't just add animations that can't be stopped.

Shaq's aggressive backdown with the force he used has not been seen again in the NBA because there hasn't been a player that big and that strong since he retired. I think a lot of them would be offensive fouls in today's NBA. The game is just called very different from the 90's and early 2000's

I also want to add that please pay attention to the success rate of the post.

Al Jefferson has the best post game by far in the NBA but he only shoots 47% on post ups

Cousins who can be dominant at times and has some moves only shoots 43% on post ups not really efficient overall.

Dwight Howard has a basic post game shoots 43.5%

So all I am saying is I want signature post shots that reflect close to real life success %'s. Looking at youtube videos shows highlights and shows what go to moves they have in their arsenal so that you can make or select signature shots.

NBA.com has a new feature where you can view all shots by say shots taken in the paint for the whole season. You can get there by sorting a player stats by Misc

Al Jefferson:

He needs those signature one hand pump fakes and flip shots. He is the only one that uses it like that.

Dwight Howard:

How about Timmy? Most of his common post moves are absent from the game. You can perform some facsimile of some of them, but that's not enough. The game should have the moves of one of the GOAT big men to ever play the sport.

They should treat post shots the same way they treat shooting jumpers to a degree. There are 100's of jumpers captured but the post shots are few. It is not like they need that many more shots.

Dwight:

Face up, shoulder shake to running hook either hand, sig drop step

M. Gasol

Sweeping running hooks missing and probably a sig post fade.

Zbo

Really needs sig post hooks that have him barely getting off the ground with a high release. It is go to move in the post. He needs a sig face up jab step it is how he gets his jumper off

Al Jefferson:

One hand ball fakes from face up very signature. He has a ball fake where he lifts one leg up to get someone to jump. Sig push shots high release, and jump hooks. He uses the push one hand release alot in the post. It like a combo hook combo push shot, combo floater. It should be his default hook shot. Now he has to drop step and all that.

At most we are talking about 40 guys needs some sig attention at least current players

For those asking about strips/defense, I have spoken with the defense team regarding big man strips. Happens too frequently imo, and that's a convo we've been having for a while now as well. The post-game should be very rewarding for those that master it - and I know the gameplay team will continue to improve upon that.
I made this video for this thread http://xboxclips.com/RusDids29/15501...f-c73d31ac6297

I can only imagine the joy of dominating in the post and dunking on my opponent without steal spamming interrupting the flow

Well based on your post, you want players with poor footwork to have a higher chance to lose the ball or travel. And I just pointed out a player with ugly footwork( Blake griffin) who necessarily shouldnt have a low post control based on his footwork and how it looks. He was just the example you gave and the easiest to describe

What they should do is use the available tools to decide how turnovers happen. If a guy doesn't usually travel well that should not be a reason.

http://on.nba.com/1xsz6U0 Griffin video T.O.'s
http://on.nba.com/1I7u3bO Griffin movement chart of every T.O.

Again NBA.com is very sick with the updates they have made. You can watch every T.O. or maybe just the SportsVu ones a person makes by just going to traditional stats. Sick either way.

Just a little more infomation Griffin only turns the ball over 9% of the time on post ups.
Cousins it is like 15.4% of his post ups he turns the ball over and 17% for Dwight.

So one way the post game gets balanced is by T.O's, bad passes, offensive fouls stripped, blocked, dribbling out of bounds
