Welp, I still don't know what I'm doing. Can't find a place to change profiles. Am I supposed to CREATE another profile for this BEFORE starting a franchise? I seriously have no clue as to what I'm doing. Just never tried this before.

Yes, you need to create one for yourself and just one for the 29 other teams. When you go to the team select screen and hit square to control all teams scroll down to your team and move the right stick to the right and find your profile and set it to the specific team you want to control. Then for the other 29 teams set them to a different profile then start your franchise. Then go to mode specific an switch profiles by using the L2-R2 if I am not mistaken and find the profile you have set for the CPU then click mode specific and change whatever settings you want.

Yeah man no problem. Here's a video on how to set it up in case you get confused. HustlinOwl did this last year. Should still work for MLB 15.

I have a question when setting up 30 team control using this roster as I'll need to add 15 players to each team's 40 man roster at the end of ST do I need to have any settings on manual such as 40 man roster control or can you still add the players to each team's 40 man and advance without the CPU changing the lineups/rotations etc. basically do I need to have any settings on manual or can they all be set to auto?

I think you can still do that even when it's set to auto. Remember though, when a player gets injured and goes on the DL the CPU will purchase the contract of the next best player not on the 40 man which on some teams could be a top prospect so keep that in mind.
