It's on the back of Next-Gen Madden 25...

EDIT: Here

Yeah what I'm talking a about is a little different. I'm talking about improving on a feature. Not introducing a feature. True step was a new feature in 25 and one that would appeal to all fans because it had to do with movement among the glamour positions like Rbs. How do you put "true step now for Lbs and lineman" and make that appeal to casual fans?

Now the only time I've seen them re hype a old feature was I think they came with a second version of the truck stick which isn't exactly a sim feature

No winning with you, huh? Always right and whatnot. A simple difference of opinion, you put on the box that o-linemen will move realistically so my QB doesn't get unnecessarily killed, that helps both casual and those more towards simulation.

That's kind of where I'm getting at though. We do all want a sim game but at the same time we see how knee-jerk things can be around here over thirty second trailers and screenshots and I can't imagine them being too much different when it comes to actually playing the game. Being able to make every FG that your kicker has the distance for despite having a terribly rated kicker shouldn't really fit in anyone's definition of sim no matter how different it might be. It's like being able to take DeAndre Jordan or Shaq and turn them into a 95% despite a horrible rating.

We can always agree that everyone wants a sim game but what I'm getting at is the sacrifice of certain nuances that may create an "unfair" feeling in an online atmosphere that a lot of people simply don't want to have to deal with.

Doesn't matter where they hype the features, all that matters is that they need to work well and consistently, and that's their main issue; they rarely do. And failing that, they're usually not nearly as impactful as they claim.

I'm just clarifying my point. We disagree. You believe that hyping Improved OL lineman on the back of the box will encourage people to buy the game. I say most casual fans won't care and that's why ea doesn't hype or even appear interested in those features.

Sounds like this Madden will be good. Wonder what the connected franchise for owner mode will be like.

From the other side you speak for a large portion of consumers. That is where this difference is settled. Regardless, we still know little about what is to come.
