Agree, but I feel that is overpowered as well.

Had to set low sliders on user QBA to not have your user controlled QB not go over 80 to 90% passing.

This was over several months of testing sliders.

If using sliders out of the box, I didn't see passes go wide, high or low, no matter what QB I used.

I listened to first 38 minutes and I need to listen to the rest. I was cautiously optimistic listening to what I did and Sage has me interested in listening to the whole thing. and I trust Sages opinion in here. I recall within those 38 minutes one of the them stated that they discovered something in 16 that isn't even marketed and they asked the team if they were going to market it and EA said no.

Every year, seems like people bring up the wining and dining aspect, but people also forget these guys are going down on their own time and trying to represent the community. ie their own personal vacation time away from work, family time...(there are sacrifices they endure to be wined and dined)

There are a few GCers I will listen to and respect. They don't tell you to go out and buy the game.
I wouldn't call it sacrificing. They are doing what they enjoy and would do in their free time for nothing. It's akin to a star wars fan getting invited to watch a scene get filmed for the new movie and then telling the director what they think.

I personally believe it simply compromises what they set out to do too. Sure they offer feedback and tell these guys what they think, but only to a point. Once they get on the inside, they don't want to be kicked out. They become more forgiving to the game for fear of getting shunned like coach ruckus.

Like others have said too, they are not the voice for me. They do not represent my views all the time. Besides, for every "SIM community" gcer there is a tourney guy fighting for user control at every turn.

To me, the best youtuber is Ryan Moody these days and that's because he is not a gcer. I don't always agree with him either, but he is much more direct with Clint or Rex with this game because he isn't worried about losing that GC status.

One last note. Last year, gcers were pumping qb inaccuracies as a great edition. The feature didn't show up in any prerelease vids and robo qb was one the biggest problems in madden 15. GCers never mentioned this. They were compromised or had their rose colored glasses on or whatever but they dropped the ball as a voice of the simheads on that in my opinion. It happens to them all.

So, KJ, you don't recall that blog/webinar that EA had that showed inaccurate passes? Man, after that, I was looking forward to 15. Can't blame CGers on that one.

As far as sacrificing, I guess it boils down to personal opinion. I have a family with kids and I'd be headed for the divorce court if I asked permission to go to Florida and burn personal vacation time vs family vacation time, but to each their own.

And as I mentioned, I wouldn't know inside/outside Twitter/Youtube.

I want to make it clear, there are only a few CGers opinions I respect.

I don't recall that. I remember watching every vid that came out looking for inaccuracies from E3 on and not seeing them. Maybe it's the cynic in me with this team, but I would watch webinar or vids of clips designed by EA to highlight an improvement with a lot of skepticism. I've been fooled a few times so I watch raw gameplay and it was evident from the start inaccuracy wasn't anything close to advertised. GCers with an inside track should've picked up on it instead of just pimping a new feature that clearly didn't work well.

And with sacrificing, I have a family and kids too. A 3 day weekend of fishing or hunting with my friends would be ok with the wife once or twice a year. In the gcer program, I could even make the case that I was doing it for my youtube channel. Extra subs or watches makes us more money sweetheart, I have to make this "sacrifice", wink wink.

Well, both of us know from Lbz what they saw at EA, wasn't all we got at the end.

And that right there is one of the biggest issues with Madden imo. They show one thing, and produce something different for us consumers. Not saying everything they show is like that, but fact is, that is the very type of thing people get so ticked off at EA over. I saw the video your talking about , and thought , finally... but then final product , they watered it down.... for the casuals.

Yea it's pretty disheartening. The guys that were supposed to be ambassadors for the us ended up drinking the kool aid.

Honestly if EA would tell us why things aren't being done or why they can't be done I'd have an easier time dealing with madden. Tell us why equipment hasn't been updated or what is going on with True-Step.
