Have you tried using the settings listed in the best settings thread... The last ones posted I think... They worked wonders for me. I also set my assists to real, and that helped a ton.

On a different note, I couldn't recommend the game to someone who doesn't do the practice sessions. They add so much to the game, to be a able to be able to learn the tracks, and most importantly enjoy them. These sessions will cause you to love these tracks

Any suggestions on cars to help me with handling? Everything feels really sensitive when I try to turn, even with sensitivity turned down.

Check out the settings thread. There are some good ones. JohnnyDangerous settings are my go to settings now.

I've got about 12 hours of gameplay in so far and the ratio is about 3-1 online to career. I can already see where I'm going to want to spend most of my racing time.

Feel free to hit me up if there is any OS action going on (PSN: Fraserburn17)

Why do you recommend starting with super carts?

I think Super Carts teach you how to be fast in this game. The class career and the tracks are great learning tools that will help one to be a better driver upon graduating to more powerful classes of cars

Career mode is a teaching tool. That is why practice sessions make all the difference.

Walk before you run I guess

I agree about walking before you run. I was going to start with the lowest level carts. Do they allow you to do practice sessions as well?

I tried the lowest level of carts, but I wasn't a big fan. The tracks are to small and they just weren't fun. Super Carts opens it up a bit. The carts are much faster but not overpowering. The first track is awesome! Very fast and challenging... The second race track is super fast and super fun! I feel really comfortable where I started...Super Carts all the way!

I'll warn you on the first track... Stay alert for wrecks in the first and last turn. I had a number of close calls with AI drivers that wiped out hard in those turns
