so many things they need to do that have been said besides this. The unrealistic catching animations need to go. Whoever thought it would be cool to mo-cap a guy jumping off a trampoline while reaching one hand (with a velcro glove) fully over his head and catching a nerf ball and flipping onto a huge pad is an idiot. People are amazed in real life at ODB making a one hand grab coming back towards the ball on a 6 yard hitch. NOBODY JUMPS 8 FEET IN THE AIR AND ONE HANDS A ROCKET PASS

catches like the ODB one, should be a rare animation. Like 1 in 40000 chances of seeing

An updated version of that would be so cool! Especially now that Madden is actually teaching some football fundamentals. The oline protection drills really helped me with M15. Also, there's something about playing with players in their practice gear that just scream "football season" to me. It got me hyped for the upcoming season. Then there were position battles and such during the preseason. Those were the days.

Re: Madden NFL 16 Launches on August 25th - News, Features and Details Arrive in May

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see the excitement for Madden like I did years ago. I remember all the excitement even for Madden 08 (an utterly terrible game that was broken in practically every area) and it was an explosion of anticipation across the net around this time. Could say the same for Madden 09 and 10. But now, it just seems dead. It's like, the people who are going to buy it are going to buy it, whatever, but the excitement for it is just dead.

It's like this game has crushed football gamer's spirits. I miss the time when football gaming was exciting and you marked your calender for the new season campaign swirl. But, we had competition in most of those years, so I digress.

Re: Madden NFL 16 Launches on August 25th - News, Features and Details Arrive in May

We need a hell of a lot deeper Franchise mode. Things like;

- More diverse Draft
Seeing your first round players actually take to the draft stage with the commissioner
- Mini/Training Camp
Allowing you to see your team in the build up to the new season including rookies and makes it just like real life
- Better free agency and scouting system
- Realistic trade center (big trades do happen in real life, and thus should happen sometimes in madden). Even if your team isn't involved, the CPU should make trades which could either benefit them, or come back to hurt them.
- Fix game prep, its simply boring. All you do is press a single button and confidence is clearly broken
- Deeper news feed
Sick of seeing the exact same story lines and news headlines each week, after a few weeks you have simply seen them all.
- Better commentary
Do I need to say more? This has been one of the biggest issues during the past few editions of Madden. It's simply stale, unemotional and repetitive.
- More updates and patches
Is it just me or do EA release minimal patches for Madden? Even when big changes and fixes are needed they rarely release a patch and when they do, it never fixes some issues that can be fixed. Instead they will release a few new uniforms, ignoring several things which need to be accounted for.
- Better DB/WR interactions
- Playable pro bowl
- Allow us to watch CPU Games
