Wish they would've fixed the non out call on a failed bunt attempt with 2 strikes. Eric young Jr just attempted a 2 strike bunt, fouled it, didn't get called out, and next pitch bases clearing triple. It was the 8th with man on 1 and 2, so a bunt would've made sense before someone says bunting with 2 strikes isn't realistic

YES!!!! I re-played 14 to verify and that is indeed the case. In situations where the frame-rate drops, 14 fares much better than 15 for some reason (poor optimization maybe?), especially after hitting the ball or throwing from 3B/SS to 1B. It seems like we're in the minority though, as are those who want a true broadcast experience. The frame rate doesn't really seem to bother a lot of people based on the lack of complaints. I also don't get the removal of the little broadcast elements all in the name of a faster game. Don't want to see it? Skip it or fast play. It's similar to playing a song, don't like a particular verse, press fast forward.

what i can't get past is that you and your team added AWESOME new additions / kept cool existing scenes in between pitches / innings that contradict achieving a goal of having the game finish faster:

1. split screen pitcher/batter
2. dirtcam view
3. broken bat, getting a new one
4. ball boy returning to seat
5. pitcher taking off hat to wipe sweat / gather himself
6. showing emotion of pitcher questioning ball that should have been a strike (i.e. lifting hands like "are you kidding me")
7. home run replay from previous inning(s); hr/xtra base hit in between innings
8. mascot hyping up the crowd
9. show motion replay
etc.. could go on forever mentioning cool things

I'm loving all the stuff above, adding to the authenticity of the game. Not showing foul balls going into the stands more often like it used to, interrupting the throw back to the pitcher from the catcher, etc...seems to take a bit of the essence of baseball away. my biggest fear is that eventually too much baseball will get removed from the game in favor of finishing the game faster...that's why you added fast play, in game saves, usage of x button...it's not like you're forcing everyone to watch everything like some FPS, other genres.

love the game, love the SCEA team's accomplishments.
just my 2 cents.
Points #3 and #4 were added in MLB 14. Points #5, #7, #8 and #9 have been in the game even longer. But I did not start this post because of those. I just wanted to mention that as a MoM player I have access to the "Dugout" camera view and I believe this is the only camera view in the entire game where the camera does not switch to some another camera the moment the batter hits the ball. In all other gaming modes the camera switches to another camera view the moment the ball is hit, but for the "Dugout" camera, the view stays on this camera for the entire duration of the play. So I get to see all the foul balls and I can tell you that even though nobody else gets to see it, the fans are definitely making an attempt to catch these foul balls in the stands in this years game. It's just too bad most of you are missing this, but trust me it is happening. LOL

Oh yes, my game of choice in '83/84 in the dorms in college.. Once had a 70 inning game because the only way to score was a HR through the infield, because there were no fly balls yet! Took 3 days to finish and we had to leave the console on and play every free second we had between classes, baseball practice, sleep and eat. And pray for no powers outages!
Later in '84, got the Commodore 64 and the original Hardball game. In late '87, got the Amiga and Earl Weaver Baseball. A huge jump for baseball gaming! Couldn't keep the guys out of my hotel room in Spring Training '88.

There's actually a fairly lengthy thread about it somewhere around here, some people definitely notice.
