I'm more interested in the framerate during gameplay. Hoping for the game to be close to 1080p60 at least during batting. It did not feel like a locked 60 last year.

Agreed. It's just that some of the heavily crowd-oriented cutscenes got really bogged down last year, which detracted from the experience.

Kinda OT but it would be quite awesome if we could get a single thread that lists all the twitch streams and videos and everything else that has happened over the past few weeks, for those of us who havent been able to keep up.

Anyway, I'm excited to watch this one. AI is something of high importance to me, and I've always felt it was not one of the stronger areas of The Show.

That makes the challenges system completely pointless. Well, it's not fair to the user, so let's just shut it off. But I want realism and realistically, umpires make bad calls so I want to keep it on. But now I'm immediately at a disadvantage because I can still get screwed with bad calls whereas the CPU cannot.
Can you look at a replay before being forced to decide to go with the challenge or not? If you can see the play as many times as you need from different angles before deciding, then that should help make the decisions work out better. Of course, then the issue might be, does the replay have high enough fidelity in depicting the play that just happened? You'd hate for it to clearly be out by replay, but the challenge coming out safe just because the replay isn't an accurate portrayal.

So far there doesn't appear to have been enough adjustments to gameplay and existing side features to warrant a purchase this year. Might pick this one up at discount.

Here's a good example of the risk that comes with charging a hard hit ball in the outfield, courtesy of Rymer Liriano in today's M's vs Padres game:

Anybody see much of this in the game? It would certainly deter the CPU's aggressiveness on hard hit balls. Same thing with the CPU fielding balls off the wall on the run then subsequently running into the wall, there should be a risk of the ball getting by.

Judging from the stream you get one look at a replay as the timer to challenge is counting down (plus the look live of course).

The question of how detailed the replays are is a good one - we know they're compressed to some degree and things don't always happen the exact same way the replay showed them.
