Will there be a preload on the uk store this year

I will probably pre-order this weekend. I will be going digital for the second year since this game is one I always come back to all year long and I don't want worry about shuffling the disc in and out.

Once pre-ordered I need to figure out whether I am going to continue any or all of my previous progress.

RTTS - 1B (my real name) at the majors in his second year
RTTS - CF (Elvis Money) - 1st year Triple A
RTTS - CP (Tommy Madrigal) - 2nd year White Sox Closer

Franchise - Fantasy Drafted just a few months in.

Unless we can actually FULLY download the game for pre-load, then I'll pass on the digital version. So annoying they advertise pre-loading like it's a big thing, but you can't even DL it fully!

Didn't really see a definitive answer. In all pre-loads I've done, it downloads the base of the game and nothing more, unless I'm doing it wrong.

are digital downloads reliable? I am considering canceling my physical copy preorder and preordering on the PS Store, but could the game file get corrupt or accidentally be deleted?
