Yeah i really wish they just made all equipment available in RTTS with no boosts tied to them.

Then maybe you get an exclusive deal with Nike or Under Armour and then you can only wear that brand, and then maybe it'll give you some sort of boost.

It's the same idea though. It's bad enough that in real life, every freaking thing is sponsored by something. I know I'm in the minority on this; I just wish they would knock some off the price of the game if they got extra sponsorship.

Well, it is optional. If you decide not to select sponsorship in your franchise, it'll be the same as in past versions.

Also, the inclusion of real life brands/sponsor technically raises operating costs for SDS.
