Yeah it does. But doing the Dirk shot doesn't get you the badge, it's not done right.

Yeah, fade ace works in the post. Tried with Kobe. Sucks the post fadeaways doesn't register. They need to get this type of stuff fixed.

Been taking only contested threes trying to get deadeye. All my hotspots turned blue so hopefully I'm in the right track. Superstar difficulty

Also playing on ******? You shouldn't be missing this much.. deadeye can be obtained within 10 games generally if you don't mind VS

I do mind Volume Shooter. I have it on my 99 maxed out SG. I'm making a SF and I've been avoiding that 25 attempt threshold like the plague. But since you don't get VS until 8 games of 25+ attempts, I'm saving 7 of those to go wild chasing Deadeye. Which I'm in the process of now. Since I know 100 contested shots is all that's required, I'm confused on what truly counts. Has anyone truly unlocked this within 100 shots? I really don't want to dedicate another 30-50 games to one badge.

You simply need the contested animation, and the grade is generally a B something. There's certain animations which trigger when the shot is contested. I used MJ's shot and it's quite evident when the back foot staggers.

Lobmob showed a method by which you walk into a defender, you're forced to use your off arm to push off, shoot then and you usually get the animation.
