I named my team and players based on the Miami team I used in Bases Loaded. I only wish we could rename all the teams and players. Love this game already. Just fun.

How do you rename a team? I edited the players, but cant figure out how to change the team name

On the select team screen before you go into edit players, hit the right stick left I think and it will say new. Continue and it will let you rename the team.

Re: Super Mega Baseball is a Throwback of the Good Kind (PS4 Review)

So far my only gameplay complaints are that the CPU seems to throw a few too many walks and they also don't seem to manage their pitching staff very well.

The excessive walks are mostly a result of the CPU leaving in tired/low mojo pitchers. In extra innings games, you can basically just drive up the CPU's pitch counts and wear down their staff until they have no one left to sub in.

Spoiler

I guess the game either needs larger bullpens or the CPU just needs to do a better job of leaving the right guys on the mound and pulling rattled/fatigued pitchers off at the appropriate times.

Haven't got the game yet, has anyone seen controls listed anywhere?
Anyone playing on ps3? Does it look close to the ps4 version everyone is streaming?

I tried a game on the highest difficulty (99 ego) to see if that would fix the "too many walks" issue, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

Once the CPU pitchers reach a certain level of fatigue/low mojo, you don't even need to swing the bat. They'll just throw walk, after walk, after walk:
