I hear you, I really do. I actually laughed out loud at the video you posted because that sucks and would absolutely make me want to break the controller. I've never had anything like that happen, but it is valid criticism. It is just really frustrating to open up some thread about FIFA only to have Hutton immediately crap all over it.

Let's take today as an example.
- patch notes mention gameplay improvements (check)
- users post before you that they are experiencing improvements (check)
- Hutton comes in and says "this patch sucks" (or something like that) (check)

You acknowledged that you only played 1 game or so when you originally posted your comments on the new patch. There is evidence that gameplay has been addressed and without really having tested it, you come in and crap on it. It just isn't necessary and I see it a lot from you.

We get it. You'd like the game to play differently with no glitches or bugs. Please play NHL 15 on the PS4 or XB1 for more than 5 minutes to see what a real half-assed game is like. That game is barely functional. At least 95% of FIFA works. It doesn't work the way you like it but it does work and play a relatively smooth game of football. There are definitely other threads to voice your dislike of the game, I don't think it needs to be done in every single one that pops up on OS.

It works with current CM.

Still no fix for the five-minue added time and handball bugs. Those should have been no-brainers...

My first match I had a 2 minute at halftime. Did end up with a 5 minute at the end, though.

Excuse me, but where can I get this ini file? And your sliders?

Weird that it's all positive comments on this board about the new patch but go to the EA forum and they are saying the lobbed through balls are worse, team doesn't hold their shape and that it's generally more arcadey. I haven't tried it yet as I gave up on fifa after a week lol

Last night I had two +3:00 and a +4:00. Not perfect, but it wasn't +5:00 every time. I play 10 min halves of that means anything.

I got several games in last night and the difference is astonishing in my opinion. The 3 biggest improvements are plain to see:

1) The CPU passes a lot more. They pass backwards, they leave little dinks for teammates running behind them, and they were even making first touch passes against me on several occasions. It still doesn't feel quite as realistic as the CPU's passing on PES, but nonetheless a massive improvement which helps the game immensely.

2) The defense is more organized. Guys stay in their areas, and CPU teammates and opponents are far peskier around the ball. In my experiences pre-patch (world class), the more aggressive team would usually average around 15 shots a game, sometimes 20 or more if they were really playing well. Now in 4 games the highest shot total I've seen from either side has been 10. That's awesome.

3) The CPU takes a lot more unpredictable attempts on goal. I've seen guys hit curlers from 20 yds, hit volleys on goal off of keeper punch outs or deflections, and plenty of other times they've just had a go when they were open, in situations I haven't seen them shoot before.

I'm still soaking it all in, and trying to decide once and for all if I'm a Normal or Slow speed kind of guy, but I'm truly shocked by how much more I've enjoyed the game in the past day. Nice work EA!
