I was playing FIFA 15 today and I just can't stand how the opponent AI plays the same way every game, every team, every player. Every player just wants to hog the ball in midfield until they absolutely have to pass it and then slowly work their way up doing the same thing..no long passes,no through balls, just bull**** 90th minute goals from headers...it's so boring. This was in career mode and because of this I don't even feel like playing through it anymore. I'll just stick to online for now..where there's also plenty of frustration. ..but not as much as single player.

In the PES demo I noticed during a game once that when I went on a full on attack and failed to score the opponent AI immediately saw the chance to counter attack and the goalie quickly long passed the ball to Ronaldo..he and Bale quickly worked their way up and damn near scored..I was caught completely off guard. It was great. There's been other instances where the opponent AI is just really aware of whats going on and are keeping me on my toes. I've NEVER seen the AI do that in FIFA, sadly.

And that was just a DEMO. The player movement will take some getting used to but I think I'm gonna pick this up.

I'll probably still keep FIFA though but if 16 is the same way..I'm done with EA.
I agree with a lot of what you said. FIFA does get frustrating and old, but I cant dismiss their presentation of the EPL, so I need both games.

Yeah I hear ya. FIFA is definitely taking a back seat to PES for me this year.

Won the AFC champions league on the ps4, now I tried the Libertadores on pc using Club Leon (Mexico). Made it to the round of 16 vs Bolivar. I lost the first leg at home 3-2. In the away leg, I was up 2-0 (4-3 on aggregate) at the half and then Bolivar just whooped my A. I gave up 4 unanswered 2nd half goals and was eliminated. I could totally feel their tactics change and I had no answer. Gotta try it again with another team.

Cool. I've got some Green Man Gaming codes, so that'll save me some loot, too. I'm gonna order it tonight. Thanks!

When is the last time you saw CPU crossing high ball? I'm playing my second season with inter and only high balls CPU kicks are corner kicks.
CPU always just feints over and over again in sidefield until he can pass in front of the net and shoots one timer like he's playing ice hockey. I'm sick of those bull**** hockey goals.

FIFA 15 officially now collects hdd sectors dust. This year's PES is phenomenal gameplay wise. It still needs some fine tuning in goalkeeping and in the fouls department though. In 20 minutes play time there are 6-7 fouls in average for both teams. I want to see nearly 12-14. The good thing is that most of the times I have been fouled by cpu just outside the box given the opportunity for a goal from a free kick (scored twice also).
I finally encountered the 20+min simulated games scorelines bug so I'm back to 15min until a patch arrives.
I'm using the PTE patch+Sweetfx+custom graphics settings on RadeonPro and the game looks fine too.
Finally a football game with decent cpu build up. Down 1-0 and chasing the ball right and left for several minutes... Frustrating? Yes. Realistic? YES.
Serious contender for the sports videogame of the year award.

Last night. I was playing Algeria in an international cup and they kept firing long balls to their cf. He was a real handful in the air and was a real handful. First time the ai has employed long ball tactics against me.

It all depends on which teams you are playing, not every team crosses into the box just for the hell of it.
