Re: NHL 15 Review (360/PS3)

I bought NHL 15 for the PS3, because while it may be NHL 14.5, at least it's a complete game. The PS4 version is an unfinished product in my opinion. If I'm gonna spend an unjustified $60 for a new game, it's gonna be on a game with some replay value and depth. I don't care to spend hours up****** NHL 14 and the fixes that are made are much needed fixes. That said, If EA adds some serious depth to NHL 16, I'll gladly buy it for next gen.

What are your guys opinion on playing 15 for Xbox 360 or even PS3 for that matter with just ea rosters? Is it worth getting into a BEAGM with their rosters. I'm not a fan of EA's attribute system, Just don't seem like there is much player difference might just be me tho and absolutely loved the revamped rosters for 14 but sadly they aren't doing it this year and I don't really have time to do a full attribute project myself so that being said is it worth getting into using ea rosters?

Re: NHL 15 Review (360/PS3)

I've been playing the crap out of 13 14 and 15 over the past few weeks on my PS3. I've yet to play 14 on my 360 since it is in another location but I will be playing it over the Thanksgiving holiday.

13 is a solid game and I have OHL KHL and revamped rosters so there is some variety. Puck physics are decent the skating is pretty good.

14 is a solid game and I have 2 all time rosters Revamped's roster as well as 1989-1990 season. I also have been playing bhranger's BeAGM roster. Lots of variety there. However the bouncy puck is getting close to a game killer.

15 plays smoother than 13 and 14 by far. The EA rosters are OK. They really need to put editing players back into the game. The new commentary team is good and is a welcome change from the old team.

I would not hesitate in getting 15.

The game isn't quite there with its mechanics. It doesn't play like real hockey. The puck is still glued to your stick, the collision models with the puck and players are absolutely horrendous, playing defense in front of the net is broken, and eashl goalies are terribly made.

I guess this means I have to either wait for NHL 16 or invest in a PS4 to get what next-gen gamers are getting out of NHL 15.

Re: NHL 15 Review (360/PS3)

I recently switched from NHL 13 to NHL 15. I played for a long time on Superstar....but in NHL 15, every offline game I play I loose on superstar, with similar sliders to NHL 13. Usually CPU comes from behind to win...is it just me adjusting to the new game and improvements, or is this how it is for a lot of people?

How do I change shot aim from manual to aim and vice versa?

Choose your teams. Use right shoulder button to advance to a screen which will allow you to change this setting. It is the second screen which will come up. CPU is grayed out and will always show manual you can change yours here. You have to do this every game you play.
