Ok PES 15 is surely a great improvement, really surprised me a bit. But no fouls again? Really? And what NG goalkeepers are these? I mean, PES really exceeds in some details... what it does right, it really does it great, but what it does wrong, its reaaalllllyy doing it wrong. Overall, it looses a lot and leaves the competition a little bit ahead.

No fouls will be patched like it was last year.

I don't see why it wouldn't be.

They haven't said unequivocally they are going to, but I assume they will.

Yeah but at this time lat year on 2014 they never said fouls would be patched and they were. PES 2014 had at least 3 or 4 console patches. You could say that it needed them and most wouldn't disagree with you but 3/4 patches are pretty rare these days.

It's a bit early to make this call, especially since the demo code is not retail, but I would say the goalkeepers in PES are better than in fifa. They may not have as many animations, but they are solid. The keepers in fifa are absolutely brutal.

I'll say that the no fouls thing is annoying. Really hope that has been adjusted in the final code. If it was patched into 2014, then I think there is reason to be optimistic that it won't be overlooked.

Re: The PES 2015 Demo Shows Solid Progress For the Series Into Next-Gen (Roundtable)

I was playing the demo when my phone rang. I put the controller down while my player had the ball on my side of the pitch. I noticed as I was talking that the opponent AI got close to my player then just stopped. Out of curiosity I didn't touch anything to see what would happen. The AI just stood there the whole time until the clock ran out, never attempting to take the ball from my player. I tried it again on purpose and once again the AI stopped within a couple yards of me and stood there the whole half. Both skill levels. Doesn't seem like great AI to me. I hope they fix that. Still picking it up in a couple days though, just have to stop myself from cheesing the AI.
