To those who said only the point guard bring the ball up. Just saw CPU Andre Kirilenko inbound to Joe Johnson to bring the ball up the court despite Deron Williams being closer and right in front of him.

Good sign.

The cpu shooting on Pro is so much better. 44% and under 20% from three.

But this also requires some holding back from the gamer.

I put shooting on ratings only so my skill was removed. I also didn't allow myself to use the signature dribbles too much as they will make the cpu defender look like a blind kid trying to guard Iverson. Which is fine since it's Pro.

I held back and played realistically by not forcing myself into the paint.

I ended up shooting 44% as well and won by two in accelerated 48 min clock.

I have the video up on twitch if anyone wants to check it out.

Pelicans vs Bucks.

Leftpaw17

Edit: it's part of the Warriors game. Plays a few minutes into the most recent video. Also on YouTube.

Gonna play a few games to see if it remains consistent. If it does, good times are ahead.

Also if it does..it begs the question: WHY cant it be released like this? Just give us last year's DNA/Synergy..whatever, until there is data to update.
This is biggest issue with the Synergy thing>>>>>

Players have tendencies from 2013/2014 season

Teams have tendencies in the same manner why not use that DATA for out of the Box Gameplay?

If you want to up date Synergy for the new year that's cool but usually players tendencies aren't going to change drastically from one year to the next especially established players like Dirk, Paul, Duncan, Melo, Durant and ect....

Their playing styles should already be locked and loaded when you open up the game right or wrong?

The Spurs offensive system or the Clippers style of play should already be noticeable in the game why wait on Synergy to dictate how those two teams play right out of the box?

I understand you want to create the most realistic NBA game you can with Synergy but sometimes just using Basketball IQ out of the box would be simple and smarter IMO.

Some guys might be too IMPATIENT to wait on your Synergy updates and by the time it does kick in you've probably lost quite a few fans already because the game wasn't ready for prime time when they initially purchased it.

Just from reading the impressions from the past week alone the things that keep popping up is Players not behaving appropriately, big's shooting hook shots at an alarming rate, 3-pt fg% way to high, stretch 4's posting up half the games and no ball/rim physics....

The only Consistent thing I've taken away from the Impressions is that the Game Looks Great and it's Fun to Play.

So it looks like they (EA) hit a home run on Fun Factor and Graphics but in terms of what you actually see night in and night out in the NBA they are lacking in that aspect (Animations, Player Tendencies, Team Styles of Play)

That is what I've learned from one week of observing the opinions from those here at OS.

Just another example as to why Sliders IMO would have made this game top notch in terms of Realistic stats and some aspects of actual gameplay.

I don't mess with sliders in any game anymore. Too much trouble, too much wondering.

I do think the game needs to be patched for better shooting percentages on higher levels. Sliders shouldn't matter in that respect.

I agree sliders can't hurt the situation but what's motivating to me is I feel like I have a good amount of influence on the stats by how I play defense. My last 3 games on Superstar I have held the CPU to 45% or lower. Best 3-pt FG% against me was 40%. My first few games on SS I was getting lit up at a clip of 55% or higher. I actually FEEL like I'm improving rather than just "getting lucky"....

Yup. Sliders are the worst thing in sports. Ruins the experience.

Rats. I was going to post here saying I see more than swishes frequently, all sorts of shots interacting with them rim. Then I read your post and think hmmm...was it only varied rim interactions with misses?

I know for certain I haven't seen a ball bounce around the rim and drop on an and 1. Every one I have witnessed has dropped out for a miss and 2 FT shots.
