There are so many issues...

I was initially going to trade M15 towards FIFA but now I'm not sure I want to give any more of my money to EA.

So...I finally re-installed Madden 15 to give it one more shot. Regardless if its Madden 15 or even 25 (which i've had alot of fun with), Madden lacks individuality. It doesn't matter so much with NCAA 14, but when I play Madden I'd like to feel like there's real differences between players and match-ups - I want to play against the other teams weakness and to my strengths.

Madden has always struggled to differentiate players outside of gear and likeness, basically the cosmetic stuff. I like CFM but the Madden presentation, atmosphere, and gameplay experience lacks so much that it doesn't matter what you do in CFM. NCAA14 has more diversity when it comes to gameplay, great atmosphere, and the presentation is miles ahead (of madden's).

I'm giving up. Madden 25 (XB1 & 360) and Madden 15 (XB1) were all traded this evening for Fifa 15 (XB1). Player Sense 2.0, Living Worlds, Infinity/Ignite Engine's "never see the same tackle twice" failed to deliver as advertised. Period.

Time for some quality gaming instead of forcing myself to 'buy-in' to Madden Season. For my football kick, I'll turn to NCAA 14, 2K8, and 2K5 until something (non-madden) is released.

My final advice if you are still considering purchasing Madden..****N FREE!

They need competition, or at least, devs who don't rest on their laurels, like these ones seem to do. (Sorry Rex, YOU are the one of the few that has a good vision), shame your team drags you down.
This is edition of Madden does a lot of things better than any prior version. So in a lot of ways it is the best Madden ever. Unfortunately, the QB AI from the CPU is an absolute game killer. I'm also raising the white flag.

This game came out two months ago and I've played it once within the last two weeks. So yeah it's the best Madden ever, but IMO being done with the game inside of two months from the release date makes it one of the worst Maddens ever. I can't think of a sports video game that I've owned in the last 8 years that I was done with within 2 months of the release.

Is there a way to verify the patch is installed, because I simmed half way through the 1st season last night and and both Manning and Rodgers had 7 TDs and 13 or 14 picks half way thorugh the year. Brady had 18 TDs and 16 Ints.

Re: Madden NFL 15 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (XB1/PS4)

Wasssup my glip glops...long time no see!

Madden NFL 15...still making moments happen.
System xbox one

The same problems that existed in 12 exist in this game and what that tells me is that it's the same AI under a new graphical engine.

1-Someone other than me has had to see a QB playing DE in the preseason. Not just playing DE, but completely obliterating the Offensive Tackle...this means that the game is still auto adjusting ratings on the fly which in turn means your sliders mean squat.

2-Computer dropped INT's Vs user dropped INT's...it's completely off balance. I've had games where the computer picked off every ball that wasn't completed to a wide out and have had games where my defense simply couldn't intercept one pass out of six sure picks.

3-The game is still making plays happen...for instance, I'm in shotgun-3 wide-2 RBs. I got instant pressure but called an audible for the backs to block. Upon looking at the replay, the game made my right guard slide 8 yards down field which in and of itself should have been a illegal man down field, but because the game wanted the sack, I got hit while throwing....neither back blocked a soul.

4-Audibles for the running backs to block is useless. The running backs either block no one, or slide up into the line and assist on a block letting their man come clean.

5-It still only takes an audible to make the computer look stupid especially at the goal line. Don't believe me, call any shotgun pass at the goal line and audible to and inside dive and see if you don't walk in.

6-While the presentation is vastly improve, the commentary at times is so repetitive that I've turned it completely off.

7-Players slide and there is a delay in many user actions...what the hell is that forward flip in the game for when I want to dive tackle..smh

8-The computer couldn't down a punt inside the 10 if it's binary code's existence depended on it.

I haven't posted here in ages because it's become taboo to say anything negative about this game but I just needed to get my two cents in after a few years hiatus. It's an enjoyable game, but not better than any other madden gameplay wise. Just my opinion.

It is amazing that this aspect of the sport has been ignored by EA for so long. I remember playing NCAA 04 over a decade ago....a game I really enjoyed. But one gap was punt coverage. I remember thinking "Maybe they will address this next year"....LOL, that didn't quite happen.

Re: Madden NFL 15 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (XB1/PS4)

I'm amazed that Madden used to spend so much time on their old game planning feature when you never need to gameplan in this game.

Defensive tackles do next to nothing against the run, never shooting gaps, never making a tackle for loss. So why worry about changing your offense when it doesn't matter if you are facing Suh or some bum? CPU QB logic is all the same. It would be nice if the good QBs like Manning got rid of the ball quick. It would be nice if the cpu QB made an effort to get the ball to Calvin Johnson more and force us to change the way we cover people. It would be nice if the scat backs showed more moves and were used differently than a power back. Where is the motion and up tempo offense from Philly when I play against them? Is it that hard to make great QBs play great and bad QBs play bad?

The game needs more personality and I'd love to see the great players stand out more, forcing you to think about them when playing and changing what you do. Other than playing against an elite CB I never change the way I play against any cpu team offline.

Well, Suh isn't known as a stout run defender, but honestly Ive never seen this be a problem this year..and Im scratching my head as to why people seem to think that it is. Granted I play mostly head to head online and in leagues. Is it playing out that much drastically different vs the CPU?

It's bad offline. A DT is always pushed backwards by the G. At best he holds his ground. Even on All-Madden with user run block at 0 you will NEVER see a cpu DT make a tackle for loss. This leads to automatic 3rd and short conversions. LBs will make plays occassionally. But if I run between the guards you will always gain yards. It's not always big yards or anything but there is a big problem when you never lose yards. An I-formation ISO up the gut is practically a money play.

I don't even need a good RB. Ben Tate was 2nd in the NFL in rushing for me on my first year with the Browns. If the sliders worked better maybe I could fix it but like I said - All Madden and 0 user run blocking and you can run up the A gap with good success against anyone. It's been like that for 3 years now so people must love picking up automatic third and shorts in Madden. It's definitely not sim imo.

It annoys me when I watch a game like Dallas-WAS and see Melton shoot a gap and make a play in the backfield. You don't see it a lot but you do see it. Suh does get penetration in the backfield. It's non-existent in Madden. I challenge the entire Madden community to get me a video of a cpu DT in Madden shooting a gap and making a tackle for loss. I'd love to see it.
