It's possible the case is EA Access members gets full access to the game but not the "benefits" like a patch. So it's much like a demo in that regard.

He's playing a retail copy of the game, EA Access and us PS4 users who download the demo probably won't have access to the patch..

Which isn't a good thing because people are playing a worse representation of the game. EA always finding ways to confuse me

The sound is low.

I had to crank my Onkyo up to 39, where most games I'm OK at 33.

Playing zone is an automatic three and wet. That's crazy.

It looks even worst when players like Dirk Nowitzki doing that ugly 1980's hook shot, really.

Huh? Are you talking about Lillards voice? He sounded pretty good to me.

Hold down the D-pad (left, right up) and the more complex plays will show up. hold down (down) for substitutions, matchups, defensive strategies etc.

My pick n roll game STUNK. By the time I hit the guy rolling, help defense had cheated over to intercept passes.

Lebron was getting boo'ed the whole game by the Knicks crowd too which was pretty cool. I don't think that was there the last time.

24th, this is for you:

Skip to around the 1:10 second mark, when I get out of replay mode

You'll see Melo with the mid range Jumper, then miss, and the kick out after the rebound.
Those screencaps of stats are encouraging, specifically the PitP and FG%. Some of the clips I've seen show an obvious lack of defense, but those screencaps seem to indicate that it is possible. If we are able to see those type of numbers consistently with post-patch gameplay, I'm absolutely sold.

Just played through one game (Hornets vs. Magic) and still have to get used to the controls. The shot release meter is different from 2K's, so I kept getting "Late Release" for a long time, missing many open shots. But that's something that will become better with more play time. Some of the animations are kind of wonky - players glide across the court or nearly teleport to the basket past your defenders at times.

Courts look great, with one notable exception (sorry for the potato quality, my phone camera is terrible):

Court should say "hornets.com" instead of "hornets.con".

The players that were scanned into the game look VERY good, but the ones that didn't are pretty bad. For instance, Elfrid Payton is one of the most recognizable-looking rookies in the league with his cool hair. But this is Elfrid Payton in Live 15:

Come on, man.

I love the ESPN presentation - the halftime show is a 1000x upgrade from 2K's. The announcing will probably get tedious after a few games, but the soundtrack is dope.

Just at first glance, it's a much better effort than Live 14, but I'm still not sure it's worth $60. I'll probably wait until a price drop to pick this one up. Interested to play the Rising Star mode later. If it's engrossing, I may change my opinion on buying it full price.
