NHL 15 Patch 1.04 Available Now, Full Details Included

After a 4 games with new tuner I have to say I hate it. There are a few things that stick out.
1) The hitting is jacked up.....again
2) I had good sliders before that limited my D from vacating the slot leaving a guy camped for an easy goal they now do it more than ever
3) The passes are either still spot on or way, way, way off and I have scored one goal in every game that was supposed to be a pass from the corner that was off the mark big time hits the goalies skate and into the net....lame
4) My CPU teammates now collide with other constantly...what the hell?
5) If I play back with a forward and take over puck control deep in my end one of my D men jump to center and take off up the ice like a forward. Also lame.

Add that to them not fixing scoreboard to include season totals, Not fixing the fact that you cannot pass a puck up the boards, etc etc etc....and this just another update that makes a bad game worse

You should have an option for 1.00, 1.01 and latest.

I'm using default sliders with manual passing auto shooting, and I'm not seeing most of the problems you are seeing. Easiest way for me to clear a puck is saucer pass off the boards.

The biggest change I see is goalies are a lot better and it is harder to score.

Same here Default Allstar always ! and I played 7 more games in Playoff mode with real rosters and just started the second round and everything that was boosted is now gone with the new update and thats good to see as Playoff Mode can have some generated play on its own.

IMO because of the improved statistics Im getting the game actually plays better then on the day it released and physics are back baby !

I been testing the player physics alot with smaller guys and non checkers and most big hits are just bumps alot of the time with these guys and thats great to see even with figuring in tilted ice at the time and the angle of hit .

Here is something I am not a fan of at all. The pass accuracy when you are facing the boards is silly.

Silly as in deadly accurate. I first noticed the cpu doing this to me and one timing it off the perfect tape to tape pass. Then I played online twice and both random people did this throughout the game.

It's stupid, plain and simple. Facing the boards your pass accuracy to someone behind you, halfway across the ice, should be imprecise.

Frankly, because it isn't and you are in no way rewarded for facing your passing target there is no reason to square up for passes at all. In fact this game would call you a fool for doing it.

As soon as I started passing the puck across ice while facing the boards my scoring rate went up. I guess it's because this phenomenal act of accuracy stuns the cpu defenders and goalie.

Gotta say, imo the overall gameplay does seem improved this time. Just played a very enjoyable game, without the bs i've come to expect.

Played Three more in Playoff mode and lost 6-0 and I had to pull Price in the first and the cpu dominated me on everything even TOA and I was out shot 34-18 .

But it felt good as I just couldnt generate anything to change the tide and I lost the next game 2-1 in ot and I won the last game 2-1 in the final minute and I really had to work for it and man the Kings like to hit me, alot !

One thing the Cpu isnt really getting many PP in Playoff Mode so I may bump up my Cpu teammate penalty to 5 as I become very skilled on defensive as Im getting 4pp a game to their 1 or 2 in 8 min periods but stats are very good as they normally out hit and shoot me most games and the PP thing also goes in streaks LOL next game 6 pp , 4 for cpu with 8 minutes left in the first period and this is why I stay on Allstar Default .

NOTE : Cant remember who asked me about Faceoffs but also Hold down the L2 button and left stick on the draw while doing the 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock and then down on right stick and I hardly loose any draws .

Gameplay UPDATE

Had my first taste of turbo boost mode kinda like playing with the Hitz tuner as I got deeper in the playoffs when it was a must win game as I had little control after being up 1-0 in the best of 3 as I couldnt , check , skate , pass or even shoot most of the time in game #2 and 3 with weird wiffs even on simple point shots that was in the prior update especially on excellent scoring opportunities ?

Real Physics were gone and goofy cpu speed boost started up with bad skaters doing in and out deke moves and intercepting everything as even my passes were slow or super fast while my players hardly responded and then it stopped once the cpu went up 2-0 in both games .

I was able to mount a normal gameplay comeback once I was down and I could reaction naturally again but it was to little to late as Quick was now making strange animation diving plays ?

Well I just hope this isnt gonna happen each time its a must win game in Playoff mode as I have no idea what tilted the Ice or handicapped me as I held in both games until the middle of the third period even with all the boost stuff ?
