So in the scenario you listed you would be slotted at the SG and your friend would be the PG.

Yeah, you should be able to pick your position. That's why another thing I liked with 2K11, you and the other team can set the lineups and you can see them. The only thing I would've added to 2K11 is being able to see their height and weight during that.
