That wasn't the half-time show shown in the livestream? I remember reading LD2K justifying for why things are a bit scaled back in that area in this thread as well.

Sorry folks, but it's been said for a while that the VAST majority of users skip most of the presentation elements even in 2k games. It's not just about being ******. It's about wanting to get back to your game as quickly as possible. It's about seeing it more than enough and it's now gotten repetitive.

So, why would they put thousands of hours on a shortened dev cycle to put the TNT guys on the LOADING phase (which you can't skip until a certain point) only to have to refresh a halftime show that a HUGE amount of the users skip? Hell, as much as I love the presentation, I skip the **** too after a few weeks.

People keep ignoring the fact that the cycle is limited, yet a TON of new things have been added to the game. Still waiting to hear about this new feature...
