No. If they are out of position my directive to them is GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY! I like your suggestion of a fallback plan though. Hey if your out of position and he run's by you just set a screen. I wonder though if others would feel like that is bad spacing if you get what I am asking.

Should his first decision be to get back where he should be or deal with the situation as it stands ?

I dont have anything to add to this thread other than to say big shout out to you Czar! Not for just dropping the video, but moreso for being open about the process, sharing info about new additions to the game and also acknowledging some of the parts that need work and what strides are being done to make the game better. In the end thats what all of us are here for is to enjoy the game and make it better and I'd just like to personally thank you for keeping it all the way 100 even despite the fact you are now apart of the team. Keep putting in work big homie!

I've been asking for something like this since the very beginning....it would eliminate mario running from the bigs....I figured this wasn't implemented to a potential cheese factor...I can just picture guys running around to every big man just to trigger the mini pick animation...

@daczar

One other freelancing question. If I'm in the freelance movements and call for screen, will the screener do a better job of screening my defender on the ball. In the past, I've noticed my bigs will often screen a spot to far away and not be near the man defending the ball. They've also positioned the screen flat so it's unusable at times.

I wasn't sure if this was IQ related to the AI offensive player or something maybe I'm doing incorrectly.

Just a few things that come to mind. Thanks for the progress that has been shown so far though.
I thought if I showed me running it too much people would be like oh that is only the user the AI won't be able to do that kind of stuff. LOL. The point of this particular vid was to illustrate that the AI can use this particular tool.

I think some would agree that in the past the AI was worse than the user in the ability to execute. At least that was the feedback I was hearing.

Hopefully I can get some more user vs AI stuff up and you can make your own determination on how well or poorly the user is able to run offense.

I have mentioned that there is a timing element to this to make it run smoothly, everyone can run it, even novice users but it won't look as good as someone who has mastered the timing.

In order to pull this off I had to link certain actions to a specific timing. So if you miss that "window" you start over from where ever the ball happens to be located.

So it will take some practice to master. Not avoiding your other questions I would just rather show you.

I think we saw tons of poor execution in all of those bootleg videos.

I am mainly playing on superstar sim right now. I believe all the footage that was captured was done on that level. If not it was probably just an oversight on my part.

That is the level that we all tuned the SIM settings to this year.

So if I want the true Sim experience I should play on superstar?
