Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions

Just going to take a moment to remind everybody that the fifa demos are generally wildly different from the release version. Not only that, but there are always multiple game play patches that will happen in the first few months.

If you compare the fifa 14 demo to fifa 14 release patched through December of last year, they are night and day two completely different games.

The fifa 14 demo last year got very similar reviews to the ones you all are giving this demo.

All I'm saying is wait until release to give this game your final review.

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions

Last night I had a very good game with 7 minute halves on World Class/Slow. I was Dortmund vs Napoli. Won 3-0 and held Napoli to just a few shots, I don't think they had more than 3. Had one curious moment where Reus was cutting through the defence and found himself open to take a shot but he pulled a muscle and couldn't continue the run. I recorded the whole game but the file is huge in HD, will try to upload overnight.

First part yes, demo to full changing a lot.

Second part no, at least no for NG. I think they put out one patch for NG 14 and it was just called stability improvements.

I liked the 14 demo, there seemed to be some player individuality (messi was dangerous) and the CPU attacked better in all difficulty levels chosen. Both of those changed drastically for the worse in the full game.

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions

I know very little about soccer. Only really pay attention when the World Cup is taking place and the U.S is playing, but my goodness this game is so addicting to me.

Granted, I don't know the ins and outs of soccer so there may be things that don't work properly, but since I'm ignorant to them anyways, I don't notice them, nor do they hamper my experience.

I've played this demo everyday since it dropped and each time, although its the same two teams, (and I lose every time) I find pure enjoyment in this game.

For the first time in I don't know how many years, I will be purchasing a FIFA game.

Well done.

Not sure if you intentionally play with the same two teams or if you aren't aware that if you finish the first intro game you can then go to play now and choose between 6 different teams. Just an FYI, if you knew already, carry on.

No I didn't know that! Thanks for the heads up!

Haha--put me in the same category. I don't know soccer well enough to know where the game may have deficiencies (which is a welcomed change from Madden/NCAA). All I know is I am now officially nuts about the EPL and learning more about other country's leagues and the Champions League which started yesterday.

I too can't wait for next week!

That's because NG was released much later than ps3/360 and it had those previous changes already built in. NG 14 was a special case and obviously not what I was talking about.
