Does anyone know what has been going on with the site? I have been unable to get into this entire week. It looks to be down again.

The site is not down nor has it been down since that one incident a while back. Updates are going on constantly. This is the regular season now.

DCEBB, I was entering rating into the game for my PS4 project last night, and the site quit responding around 9PM CST. Are there updates going on right now? It doesn't look like it has come back up yet.


Can you look into this?


By the way. These ratings are tremendous. They really change the game play of Madden. I really hope you know how much we appreciate what you do year after year. If not for you, Madden would be shelved. This project has been a huge undertaking for me, but in the end, it will be so worth it.


My hope is that one day, EA sees your value and what you can do for Madden. You alone could turn this game inside out. Sim Standard (Game Changer) is following my project closely. He has a direct line to EA and hopefully can get them aware of the value that these ratings bring to Madden. When I look at your work, I see $ signs. This site is amazing.

Unfortunately, EA is not in the business of creating an accurate game. I interviewed with them for Donny's job back in 2011. All they wanted was pump me for information (name sources, see how I rate players, etc). What I found out was that the marketing dept at EA alters the OVR rating against Donny's wishes quite a bit. I was specifically asked how I would react if/when I was asked to change a player's ratings because a suit said I had to. I told them I wouldn't compromise the system. As you can imagine, my honesty didn't lead to the job.

As far as seeing $ signs with the site, the only $ signs I can ever see is if someone at EA hires me to do their ratings. Aside from that, these ratings are for the public. I hope people enjoy them. It makes me feel good to see all of the threads regarding rosters that use my ratings. I hope it continues.

In my eyes, your ratings are the only ratings. I just hope you can find the time to sit down and enjoy them.
