Not sure what you mean here.

I apologize for liking the game?

Sorry, it was my worst English impression. Keep in mind everything I learned about English accents came from Monty Python.

Yep. 2nd defender button helps with that.

Liking it so far. The complaints about defending aren't warranted at all. If you can defend properly without using the contain button then you won't have any problems. I've conceded 1 goal in 4 games and it was an own goal.

The keepers seem very good so far but that should help with the excitement in longer matches.

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Available Now on Xbox One, 360, PC, PS3 - Soon For PS4

Playing the demo on PS4 and have to say I really enjoyed it. Is this game 100% realistic? Of course not, in many ways it doesn't represent what I see on a Saturday afternoon but no doubt FIFA this year is shaping up to be an excellent video game (and I think sometimes people lose sight of the fact it's a video game).

Firstly I love the presentation, it's an area I have always felt was lacking (and to a degree still is) but from the Premier League intros with Martin Tyler reading out the line-ups or having them scroll across the bottom of the screen to the crowd getting excited pre game FIFA does a great job of setting the scene for the game ahead. One thing I would like to see here is Alan Smith getting more involved and maybe adding some insight into the team selection/formation and what he thinks we might see from the game but nonetheless it's very impressive as it is. One negative for me is i'm a little concerned how many World Cup stories we'll here, it's good the game is upto date in that area (unlike say NHL) but I don't need to hear about Aguero's World Cup every time he is on the pitch and certainly not twice in the same game.

Ultimately the most important aspect of the game is the gameplay and whilst it still feels similar in many ways to previous versions there are many factors I really like, firstly i'm seeing more fouls than I have before including two I really liked. I jumped late for an aerial ball with the keeper and caught him resulting in a yellow card and the other was getting a penalty from a corner when the centre half charged into me stopping me getting a clean header on goal. There are more routine collisions than I have seen before that rightly result in free kicks and I love that I'm seeing more diving tackles aimed at me as well. There are still issues here though, something that bugged me on previous versions was not being awarded penalties in some obvious situations and with Messi I got sent flying in the box as I tricked my way into the area but there was not only no penalty but no mention from the commentators that it could have been. Incidentally it did at least look fantastic.

I like the ball physics, you can really feel the weight of the ball when dribbling, passing and shooting. Passing % is still way to high, Boca had 98% pass success on me at half time in one game. Sliders will help but still, that is excessive. Speaking of the opposition I still want to see a better quality build up play from them, too much dribbling for my liking and too many occasions where they will turn down a decent shooting poition to keep dribbling wide.

Another thing that caught my eye was Henderson getting caught under the ball on one header midway inside the opposition half and instead of what should have been an easy header he knocked it backwards resulting in a dangerous counter attack, it looked great.

Shooting and goal variety has always been my biggest problem with FIFA over the years and I'm pleased to see a real improvement here. I think a big factor in this is the new keepers, now they aren't perfect but they desperately needed to be improved and I think they have been. Whilst sometimes it can look awkward I love them standing upright as I smash or place the ball past them. As long as it's only on shots they have no business saving then it's fine. I did have one rebound that Hart should have saved (or at least attempted to) but he simply stood there, that needs to be fixed and I'm sure it will be. In the past I've felt like keepers made too many saves and there wasn't enough variation in shots but I'm pleased to see that improved. Even saw three nice deflections end up in goals (possibly too many) although Alan Smith didn't seem to realise the shots were heavily deflected. Did also see one occasion of a goal I scored not being counted as a shot on target which was odd.

Defending is interesting, I must say i've not had too many issues but the odd wandering defender needs to be fixed although I don't mind it rarely as we can see some awful defending most weekends in real games. I haven't had many issues here though, I generally defend by standing off players and keeping my shape taking the ball off the forwards around the edge of my own box and I've certainly held my own defensively.

I haven't really messed about with the new tactical settings yet but I'm certainly encouraged to see the opposition change their tactics depending on the game situation even if they can leave themselves maybe a bit too open when looking for that equaliser late on. I generally pick them off pretty easily. One annoyance that is still here is substitutions, whilst I love the fact they are much quicker than before I still see the computer making three single subs every game, often subs that make no sense like replacing Cesc with Jon Obi Mikel in a goalless game. Too many times they will make a like for like sub for no real reason other than because they can. How about a double sub every now and again or even a tactical sub or maybe just one or two a game to mix it up a bit.

Overall though I think we have the best FIFA yet and with this game likely only to get better in the future I think we will be in for a real treat on this new generation of consoles.

Stupid question - how do I change the difficulty setting? On PC.

CPU defense is terrible and frustrating as last year or even more than before, defenders seem to avoid attackers, sidebacks stay in their position even if there's an opponent close to them going to the box leaving his completely alone to score, midfielders don't cover passing lanes and are too wide in the field leaving the center for the rivals to go through there without much opposition, centerbacks leave their mark too often and don't cover the goal as much as I'd like leaving the keeper as the only one available to avoid a goal.
This is my main complaint about the demo. Hopefully this will be fixed in the full game. Orion says this is an early build of the game.

I agree here too. I fear the near post shot is an exploit as I have scored more near post goals in my time with the demo than I did in all my games of fifa 14. I hate the amount of balls I have seen them watch go into the net. Make a move please. It's bad in PK's too.

For this I have had success using LB as I collect a pass. It almost prompts the CPU to foul you. Just liberal use of LB when the CPU is near seems to draw fouls this year.

Besides (something that I've felt with every FIFA I remember) every team plays the same (or very very very similar to each other), one would've thought that with so many team management options and so many editors to the game's database this would be a thing of the past but no, still the same.
Yep this is still a thing. The only time I can suppress crazy high CPU passing % is if I just flat out dominate possession so they can't make as many passes.

Personally I will just be pleased if the AI of your CPU controlled defenders is fixed. I can live with just about everything else. EA seem to make the keepers super human or fools. This one surprises me though because one of the features they are touting is improved GK. pEs patched the keepers 2 years ago so EA could do something similar. Could be the demo build too.

This is going to be very interesting in my opinion, the transition from demo to full game. Because there is promise in the demo and there are some serious glaring faults. I don't see any of the faults as something EA can't fix so we wait and see...
