The companies who are able to provide the best balance for die-hards and casual sports fans tend to produce the best games on a consistent basis.

To those saying FIFA isnt realistic....what are you HONESTLY expecting here? lol.

Of course, anybody who is a mega fan of soccer (or any sport) can sit there and pick apart every fallacy that doesn't represent the real sport. Congrats! If thats what you'd rather spend your time doing...then hey...go for it. Id rather enjoy the game for what it is. IMO. Fifa consistently produces quality games..they may be the most consistent EA dev team out there actually.
That's right... So tell me, why is FIFA the shining light of sports games then? I'm responding to those calling it realistic, I'm not claiming it should be. People talk as if the only thing EA get right is FIFA in terms of beautiful and realistic gameplay, I'm merely pointing out that it isn't...

Again, most people don't say they get it 100% right, just more than Madden, Live, NHL.

If you want realistic take your ball and go outside.
Video games are meant to be fun representations of your favorite sport, nothing more, nothing less. As for the FIFA franchise specifically, the dev team does a very good job of giving all manner of gamers a tremendously well produced, well thought out and highly customizable product that can be tailored to give you the experience of your choosing.
And while the sliders and options that the game provides can be manipulated to give a very good simulation style experience, it's certainly never going to be perfect and it's absolutely not going to be realistic. It's a video game, have fun with it.
Another thing I forgot to mention, the keepers. They were rebuilt from the ground up so yeah, they're not perfect in the demo, but the demo is quite old and the keepers are more more polished in the final release. At least that's what I've been told.
Enough said^^^^^

Can we stick to real feedback of Fifa demo, not bashing party. At least if you do not like fifa you have another choice in PES, not like some other sports like NHL and NFL. Play, give non biased feedback, and move on.

Nah hold up... I see guys bitch about completion stats, bitch about how Geno Smith can shred a defense, bitch about QB's not throwing it out of bounds under pressure, u see people bitch that db's are psychic, you see people bitch about too many sacks, offensive line awareness, high 3 pt percentages on nba 2k, lack of fast breaks, canned animations... You all agree... I point out a few things in a game that represents a sport that you don't much care for and I get criticised?!? Haha, damn!

Oh and their seems to be a high amount of goals being conceded and scored in exactly the same fashion... A player by the byline, cutting back in and smashing it in the net with the goalkeeper reacting and diving in the same place every time... I've seen the exact same goal on about 7 diff occasions... Fifa has always been famed for certain ways to guarantee a goal.. It used to be 'run down the wing, press x twice and then square it to an opponent to tap it in' this little move by the byline seems to be this years trick.

I'm not sure I'm playing the same game as you.
