NBA Live 15 Delayed Until October 28th, Three Short Gameplay Videos Revealed

I can't even begin to understand how somebody is seriously here in 2014 defending in any way, shape or form a decision to include less OPTIONS in a video game. As a gamer, particularly a sports gamer it is NEVER a bad thing to have customization options.

I personally think the 9 lives (no pun intended lol) NBA Live seems to have has more to do with us just wanting so badly to have 2 basketball games to choose from being that every other sport (with the exception of Soccer) has lost all competition. People are just desperate for competition. That doesn't mean EA should get a pass. They've had long enough to get it together. Enough is enough. They need to be judged according to 2014 Next Gen sports game standards not I just hope it's better than Live 10 standards. Sorry for the rant but I speak out of disappointment because I grew up Live

They were playing user vs. user some things I noticed

• I really liked the explosion out of triple threat by LeBron. That quick step looks very well done
• The iso dribble by Harden is very, very well done. Speed, cross, hesi explosion. It actually looks hard to guard Harden as it should be at times.
• I don't know if this is one of the bugs but in two plays the Harden play they are running a quick play like a zipper action play and Waiters play as well. There is a long, long delay for the defense to stick his man that has to be a fixed.
• Looks like basketball not perfect but believable.
• Animations are actually better than I thought they would be but it is like they need more frames in the animations to smooth it out

The terrible defense may be the results of them playing on the lowest difficulty level. That would explain a lot.


For the most part this sums up how I feel about these 3 vids.

I don't know but to me the vids look rough. Players look like they are all jerking around for no reason. They might need to push it back more and try to get it right.

Because ever ones skill is different. Something that plays realistic to you may not play realistic to someone else. There is not a game that playes realistic with out sliders not even the great mlb the show game. With out sliders I hit to while in the game and the CPU doesn't strike out enough.

That came out of left field but I'm not surprised. Three weeks of extra polish can help the game with balancing, better performance, and fixing bugs. As for the videos, they all were really well done. The lebron dunk was nasty, Harden's drive looked amazing, and they have Lebron jumpshot on point for the last clip. Animations look smooth and player movement looks great. The delay is not a big deal for me, I'll just get to play NBA 2K15 on PC for three weeks until Live 15 releases.
