Sure. Heading out for the night now, but perhaps late tonight or before I head to Miami tomorrow.

Just saw the youtube videos of xbox360 version. Can't believe it. How can they possibly justify selling last years game with patched dump ins and nhl 15 logos being the only difference? This is blatant tom foolery I tell you!!! *steps outside, opens umbrella, flies away on the wind and sun*

What has happened to the development of this game? How long were the lunch breaks these guys were having during production?

Well lets see.... 2K10 still kills EA SPORTS games 5 years and counting... I'd rather 2K update the rosters and give me it at $20.00 and I'd be happy.....

NHL 15 - Like driving a Corvette, if it had a 4 cylinder engine.... Non-Turbo that is.... Looks great, no power.. Lame game.... Looks are great, I was excited at Doc Emeric being in the game.. Til he repeated 10 times in my 6 hour trial. Wow the play by play is not for the game I am playing, anyone else have that happen?

HUT - is again awesome but knowing that the EASHL is gone on next-gen after 2 years of development is shocking.. EA is a bully, they do not have ANY competition so they have stopped trying. Knowing us FAN BOYS/GALS we buy anything with a higher number on the box....

@ 2 K SPORTS - please come back to us.... We miss you.... Basketball isn't the same as hockey, but we love the work on the bouncing ball game.... Just put ice on the court call it hockey and it will be 100 times better then NHL 15 !!!!!

Create a player is deep and you can change the tape on a stick... I didn't check goalies (damn that's my position in real life) but I guess that is gone..

NO CREATE a team, no loss because it sucked anyhow... 2K10 Create A Team was deeper and thats nearly 6 years old !!!

Agree man... We need a 2K game back. They should release a PSN/XBL game for $20 with low budget and only focus on realistic and simulation gameplay... They begin to dye when they tried to begin copying EA and going for the masses.

Off topic, but I actually emailed Ronnie2K today and he confirmed 2K has no plans for another hockey game at this time. (not much of a surprise)

Here's the thing, EA's game has a lot going for it.
I've played with the Revamped rosters and it's amazing what a different experience it is.
So the gameplay is there. But obviously EA needs to exaggerate the ratings a bit more to see some separation and get a 'sloppier' game.

Another idea presented on these boards was utilizing AFL2K's 'weapon' system.
How about you give out weapons like "Thread Needle", "One-timer", "Sniper", "Dangle", "Shutdown", "Shadow" etc.
If you don't have those weapons, then those skills are either not available to that player, or their ability to use them is very poor with a very low percentage success rate.

It would make the game a lot more interesting if both the CPU and Human player couldn't fire off an easy one-timer with a player who's currently open in the slot, or even thread the pass to that player without using a playmaker with the "Thread Needle" weapon.

Re: NHL 15 Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Post Your Impressions

Couple questions for those who have played the full version:

1) When playing online do you move up levels when you beat people, so you they eventually match you up with better players or does online play not have "counted games" so to speak (hope that makes sense)

2) If a friend comes over, can the two of us play someone online?

3) In Be a GM mode, which I believe is the only way to play a regular season, I assume that includes the playoffs at the end of the season, yes?

4) When they say no online shootout, does that mean the games online can end in draws or was online shootout a separate mode altogether?

Sorry if some of those were dumb questions, but I'm on the fence about canceling my pre-order (even though the game only costs me $42 thanks to E3 promo) although the only modes I care about are online playing and being able to play as a team for a whole season and compete in the playoffs.

Thanks guys!

Errr....no. No it is not. It is less "deep" than it has been in previous years. For example...in the past you had that same list of face to choose from (which were/are not editable), but you also had a set of like 20 faces where you could choose the face, the skin tone, the hair and eye color as well as facial hair style. In nhl 15...these options do not exist. So no, it is not deep. Especially when compared to other sports games like mlb the show or NBA 2k.
