It's that one. I have played hundreds of games online since they introduced the new skating, and I do things that I haven't seen a single other person ever do. It seems like nobody even knows about the side drop pass. I've never ever seen anyone do it other than me. Not in game, or on YouTube.

Ha, there is no incentive to play hockey with this game. None. It doesn't reward it if you do and it certainly won't do it back to you in return.
Sadly, this could not be more true.

Its been said. The end. Sucks, but there are threads to be made to discuss that exact thing. Its not an impression to repeat that no player edit is in the game.

Re: NHL 15 Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Post Your Impressions

Just played Penguins at Red Wings. 7 min All Star Hardcore. Maxed penalty sliders for overall and CPU. Upped poke check for both CPU and Human and Lowered shot accuracy for both CPU and Human one notch. Upped CPU goalie holding the puck for face-offs.

Won 5-0. Outshot the Wings 26-14. Went 3-3 on the Power Play. They were 0-2. Passing was 73-72% in my favor. Face-offs 17-15 for wings and hits were 10-6 for wings as well.

-PP is way overpowered for me. Just too easy with the extra space to look and make the pretty pass or extra pass. It is fun, but the CPU is just hopeless in these instances.

-Detroit pulled Howard in the 2nd after falling down 4-0. 2 of the goals were sloppy, one bounced in off of his defenseman and another should have been goalie interference as he kicked a rebound out to the side Dupuis was in his crease and prevented him from sliding over to follow the rebound shot that trickled in.

-Gustavsson came in as a backup and he looks and plays EXACTLY same as every other goalie in this game. Doesn't appear to be any bigger really. Outside of the pad markings and different number on the jersey there was no telling it was him in comparison to Howard.

-Another game with not one puck leaving the playing surface. This may not matter to some, but this is a huge oversight in my mind. Almost the same as a bouncing puck on dump-ins in the past game to me. If the puck doesn't go over the boards on a deflected shot that is more chances for a goal as a result of the puck staying in. Less chance for a face-off and line change. It affects several aspects of the stats and simmed game experience.

-Upping the poke check sliders for both teams and lowering the shot accuracy sliders really helped make the game look more realistic. You had to work harder and rely less on picking corners or cheese shots.

-Twice I poked the puck off of the point man's stick as he wound up for a slap shot. Very nice.

-All of the penalties were on trips.

-Franzen kept trying to fight people on my team once the score was 4-0. Players like Letang. Unrealistic to me and dumb.

-Face-offs are really stale and boring.

-Setting my team's attack and other settings in the pregame menus hasn't stuck when going in game for two games in a row now. Looks like a bug. I have to set them again during the gameplay for it to stick.

-Entering the zone is so awful. Easy entry every single time. It is boring. I can't see that being fun over the course of a 82 game season against the computer.

-For all of the work that they have done on the beautiful arenas they sure don't pan around them much or show off that work. How about some nice roof pans or scoreboard shots. Barely see any of the crowd, too.

-The ice degrades nicely over the course of a period and period length seems to have impact on that, which is nice.

-The logos on the ice are too washed out in color. They should start out bold and then fade as the ice degrades.

-If I could play this against a friend all of the time and not the computer it might be fun. I trust my hockey friends to set up and play in a challenging, yet realistic manner. They can make adjustments and change things up enough that the game might be useful, but alas you cannot play against friends in any mode except exhibition.

Will, can you play one with aggression raised to 5 or 6 in addition to the other changes you made? Looked like the default is 3, which is too low for a competitive game.
