I hope not. I liked having to follow market trends on my own, and getting steals due to my knowledge of the market. Having that thing to tell everyone what a card is worth almost takes the fun out of it. It certainly waters it down.
The Auction Assistant feature is still in the game:

Keep in mind that you can always change your own team's AI settings from the "tonight's matchup" screen before you load up a game. But you can't edit the rest of the CPU teams' settings like you could in NHL 14. Previously, you could change the tendencies for every team in the game.
That is the final blow for me then. There is a workaround I found in the demo for strategies though. You just move a second controller to the CPU team and adjust the strategies from there. Then when you start the game move that controller off the CPU team and the strategies should stick providing you have the CPU strategy adjustment slider set to 0. However, it still won't work for Be A GM since you can only control the User team. Without season mode, playoffs, and tournament, then it's virtually useless unless you want to play, play now games.

Thank you for sharing this information. I can officially say I'm not buying this game now. I'm honestly considering the game for 360 or ps3 though. If the stick handling and arenas are in the 360/ps3 version I may just buy it. I'm thinking if I get it I will put Shogun's goalie and player edits in the game and hopefully it will be the same experience he has been having on NHL 14. The only thing is, at this point I don't want to give them money for this series at all.

Re: NHL 15 Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Post Your Impressions

I played 4 game in HUT with only the starter packer. Gold pack was not available for purchase at this time. I am not sure if this is done on purpose or not but the starter pack was very weak. My best player was Travis Moen. Other player where AHL/Junior caliber.

The AI comeback was in full swing. Even worst than NHL14 at time. It was over the top. I haven't found a way to block the laser pass in the slot and the AI abuse the hell out of that even more so than NHL14. My impression is that this will be the year of the breakaway and one timer.

I only had the option to play online or solo. No tournament. You always play as away. That kinda weak. The menu as not that slow but they are not fast either and the new HUT interface needs a lot of work.

I don't want to be one of the guys that bash EA to death but they have a lot of work to do to polish this game. I think a huge amount of buyers are going to be dissatisfied in its current state. Hopefully, there is a patch around the corner.

Re: NHL 15 Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Post Your Impressions

Does anyone know of any youtube channels with players who actually utilize the tools that they give you in game? I feel like nobody uses any of the advanced skating cuts or anything.

Everyone I watch does the same boring garbage every time, skate to the corner and either whip a one timer out front, or cut across the crease for a whip wrister far side. How is that even fun? You literally might as well just be playing NHL 94 with buttons. Is there anyone who actually uses the superstar skill stick? I want to see people setting up plays and stuff, and utilizing dekes. I swear I'm the only one who does this.
