Madden NFL 15: Skills Trainer and Gauntlet Mode More Important Than Ever

When I first saw the trailers for The Gauntlet, I was a little skeptical; it looked too much like another Madden gimmick. But having played it, my opinion was immediately swayed.

My favorite part is how it teaches recognition of certain defenses and how to attack them. I wish more games would do that. Similarly, I enjoyed learning the different passing concepts. Not being a huge football fan (outside of the video game version), it was nice to learn that information.

the skills trainer is very much needed to have people who maynot know alot about reading defenses and some concepts. i also like how during loading that it gives you descriptions on concepts as well

Yeah the skills trainer is fantastic, I wish other sports games would do something similar. It has taught me how to read defenses pre-snap, something I didn't really know how to do before going thru it.

Ya skill trainer is nice and gauntlet mode is a nice change of pace. In saying that I still miss mini camp. That was just. I wouldn't mind if they brought that back in it's entirety

After skipping Madden for a few years, I decided to play a game right away because I though I knew how to play. Nope, got intercepted 5 times, sacked quite a few times, and got blown out on Pro! Decided to do Skills Trainer and it helped me out A LOT and enjoy the game better as well! Definitely worth doing the Skills Trainer...
