At the very least, with respect to a fix from EA, it appears that angels28 has isolated the crux of the issue, that team scheme setting is having a dominating effect on simulated game statistics regardless of team personnel.

With any luck, that gives EA some guidance as to how to proceed in addressing the issue.

I'm in Norway so I don't get the game until the 28th but I really hope someone gets the game tonight and does some testing/tinkering with these team scheme settings!!!!!

Honestly, have more faith in this than the CFM team finding a real solution :/

Angels stated that you basically have to change the CPU team schemes before you play them, in order to keep them playing realistically.

Needless to say, 32 team control is requirement of this method.

Well done Angels, I may just pick this up now. It's sad that the community has to find these workarounds rather than EA getting it right the first time, but it's better than nothing at all.
