Why do you assume this? How long have Mp3's and music streaming been around and millions of physical disc are sold each year. Can't we all get along?

Hyperbole aside, does the hacking of PSN pose a serious threat to our ability to have the game ready on the 26th, or is that something we don't know yet?

If there's going to be a serious delay, I might switch my decision and go with the physical disc, but I'm still on the fence.

Think Sony mention they will be back up later on today (or at least give us an update). But with maintenance tomorrow, I rather they just keep the servers down for the rest of the day today and do their maintenance now rather than wait for Monday.

It doesn't really matter because even with the disk you're not going to be able to get past the initial loading screen due to not being able to sign into your EA account.
