For those giving it a miss this year you do realise that there is a free trial of the full game where you can play it for a short period of time so it gives you a chance to try before completely writing it off so why not try it out.

From the past couple years, they've been blasted when they post any vids (for good reason), so this does not surprise me. I listened to the whole podcast and just said to myself, "wow, these guys are soooo far behind". No customization is HUGE for me. I feel sorry for guys who only deal with Live. Maybe I'll purchase their game in the future when they provide a full game.
