Don't really know what to say about the new confidence system, just have to see how it's implemented and how much ratings as a whole effect player performance, given the game play changes being touted. I liked the claims of truly random draft classes, CPU AI capable of handling progression and free agency not just being about money.

That said, disappointed about the continued lack of a progressive injury system, no news of a NCAA Football style league ticker for CFM and just a general absence of a robust fleshed out NFL player management system, that surpasses or even matches HC09, in now the third edition of this career mode.

No mention of getting their web access of your franchise up to the NCAA teams standard.

I want to be able to do all the weekely dirty work via thhe web.

I love all the player development stuff and hope it is implemented well because it will go a long ways in developing young 2nd and 3rd stringers.

Exactly!.....seriously they should just find a corporate sponsor for the league websites and throw some money into making the web more of a tool. NCAA was great because you could do everything from from adding removing players to your recruiting list/recruiting/auto pilot/advance the dynasty.

Yeah, that's a big change for him. Starting with HC09, he's consciously rewarded what he termed "grinding." I guess I'm glad he at least somewhat less doctrinaire about it (practicing was tedious in Madden 13), but I think he's right that football is a war of attrition and rewards he who perseveres (grinds it out, whatever it happens to be, depending on your position, assignment, job, task, etc.).
