There used to be an article somewhere that had pretty much everything written out, I think it was on the topic of Jordan constantly mentions and disses LeBron because he doesn't want him to surpass him when it's all said and done.. Idk the article itself was really ****ing stupid but it was crazy to see all the things Jordan's has said about him over the years. I've been trying to find it again ever since you've asked but I can't find it anywhere.. I think I have it bookmarked in my old phone, but I can't find that either lol.

But honestly there isn't much that's "legit" that's been said.. Most of it depends on how you interpret it, one person might think he meant it as a dis, one might say it's friendly criticism, or honesty, or competitive nature, or whatever... Most of it isn't really clear.

But from my perspective why even bring it up. Why do you need to say "I wouldn't have joined Magic and Bird", and saying things like he wouldn't be as good in my era, I could beat him one on one. Why make multiple commercials insinuating dissing LeBron without actually saying it, I mean just don't say anything, or at least say what you actually mean instead of "hinting" at everything... Jordan stays relatively quite, but is always one of the first to jump in with a comment about LeBron, so long as that comment brings him down in some manner..

I really don't care either way, it doesn't bother me if those two loved each other or hated each other. But if I were LeBron and I had grew up idolizing MJ (which I did) and I openly called him my role model, the best ever, said that he's so great the entire league should retire 23 (which is crazy). Etc, etc... Only for in return he doesn't speak of me other than to bring me down, or avoid giving a compliment without the "but this", and so on.. I mean that probably doesn't sit to well with LeBron. Your superhero basically continues to put you down, nobody wants that. I'm not a professional athlete but if one of my favorite players publicly put me down it would certainly make me feel different towards them. That's all I'm saying.

But ultimately, MJ said just last season or the one before I can't remember, he said that the only reason LeBron is the best player in the league is because Kobe was out with an injury.. There isn't a player, coach, GM in the league that would have agreed with that. It was beyond disrespectful IMO. It's one thing to say Kobe has had the better career, or is the better player all time, etc.. But to currently say that a past prime 34 year old Kobe was better than LeBron entering his prime and winning championships and MVPs, I mean that's just laughable really. Why wouldn't something like that make LeBron feel a little less of someone he considered an idol and a role model.

That's not exactly what he said, but okay OJ lol

Quote:
“It’s hard to pick. It’s hard to say the best player,” Jordan said. “You would have to say LeBron because of what he’s capable of doing. Kobe is coming off an injury and you don’t know where he is going to be at his age. I would have to say LeBron.”
And when he said he'd take Kobe over LeBron, it's pretty clear he was taking their entire careers into account.

Quote:
“If you had to pick between the two, that would be a tough choice,” Jordan, now owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, told program host Ahmad Rashard, “but five beats one every time I look at it.”

Bryant has won five championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, with James winning his first NBA title last June. Jordan, of course, won six championships with the Chicago Bulls

“And not that he won’t get five,” Jordan said of James. “He may get more than that, but five is bigger than one.”

You're fabricating stuff now.

You really think he's not staring him down? right, because when on a fast break dunk players just glare at a target that's not within the linear vicinity of the basket...

He could of been looking over there for a number of reasons. But oh well... Good luck with that. Hopefully LeBron comes out on his autobiography and makes everyone feel better about what happen.
