Assume this is not corrected in the patch but I'll give it a try soon. But long story short, RTTS/PlayerLock mode has been unusable for me since the game launched, and it's one of the first things I've wanted to play. However, it's broken if you are one who wants to play with ALL PITCHES selected. You have the option to only play the plays involving your player, and other options, then you have all pitches which has been broken.

Since it wasn't mentioned in the description of the patch, I don't expect that it's been fixed. Of all things disappointing about this game, this is the absolute most unacceptable issue of all if it's still not been addressed.

I heard it during the game I just played vs the Padres. I honestly didn't really notice it was missing prior to the patch. But man, I sure noticed it when it was playing.

How is it broken?
I use Player Lock in a ton of games....and am able to be in on every pitch. I watch all my teammate AB's...and watch all pitches on the field.

It is defensively once you are in the field. Don't you experience pre-pitch the camera panning around the entire ballpark, all the way from your position, to the catcher and mound, then all the way back around to your position? After that the pitch is thrown, you hardly even have time to align yourself to a desired position pre-pitch.

It does this after every pitch, and this couldn't be intentionally made by design, because it's absolute nonsense. If I'm in the outfield I'm not going to do that for a 162 game season, that is a tortuous idea. This to me appeared to be a bug, I posted a report on tsn, but it's now nonexistant and didn't get an official response from anyone. I have confirmed with other players that this is an issue.

Wha? I only play All Pitches when the team I'm on is about to win something significant (division, pennant, world series) and my RttS saw every pitch and I wasn't necessarily in the play...like in real life.
The camera never panned around to anything other than for strikeouts and such. I'm not really sure what your "issue" is.

I thought that the camera panning had to do with all the outfield positions...?
BTW first game after the patch.... No organ music... Smh... Really a baseball game with little to no organ music... Not trying to be a wise *** but how the heck does that happen? Am I doing something wrong or what....?


Oh and I still apparently play against all star fielding pitchers, but yet my pitcher can't get to the same balls hit at half the speed... Whatever

Ok, well I just played and this issue is the same. It's a legitimate issue, I wouldn't bring up otherwise, thoroughly it's an issue. Most players that encountered it would consider this a bug or something unintentional. It's after every pitch thrown, the camera circles the ballpark all as I described. The are multiple setbacks in the game that this causes, I guess most obvious could be the simple fact that you cannot even pause your game for any reason while on defense because the cameras movement is un-stoppable and as soon as it returns you to your position the ball is being thrown, which of course means you cannot pause the game there either. Then the cycle continues as you're panned around the ballpark as soon as the pitch is over.

But most bothersome to me is the fact that this takes you completely out of everything the mode is intended to be designed for. You're supposed to be a LF RF, SS or whatever position player you chose, IE Derek Jeter, Jean Segura, and you're not allowed to be them. You're just in the mix of a broken gameplay mode and that's really it.

But even more substantial of an issue is the fact that as I mentioned before, you as a position are not allowed to do anything in your position pre-pitch. Such as "positioning" yourself, you know, shallow deep etc, 2 steps to the left/right etc. The mode being broken as it is for me and presumably most "All Pitches" players make it completely useless. My intention was to play the game daily in this mode and play my one game a day in franchise mode or perhaps start a player locked season perhaps with Derek Jeter since this is his final year in baseball.

There are some of us that exist that look for the game to play it through it's entirety, unless they are planning to scrap the mode altogether next year then we won't exist at all because there is no option kind of like there is no option now.
