I've done it several times. You have to mix in elbows with other strikes though and you have to watch your stamina.

The quitting is out of control in championships right now. I am stuck at blue belt on xb1 because 3 out of 4 fights. Immature punks who can't take a loss, quit as soon as the submission is locked in and the fight doesn't register, they may get a DNF and a loss, but where is my win I earned. Is this on your end GameplayDev, or do you have to ask someone else at the studio. This is beyond frustrating right now. No reason wins shouldn't be given against a quitter. Due to random opponents its not like someone could defraud the leaderboards due to quitting with a dummy account.

include yournaments in that too.

Good to know it's possible. I thought I was doing a pretty good job of mixing up my strikes. I was sure I was going to stop him several times. I did escape several submission attempts throughout the fight which was nice and added some drama.

One thing I notice is that with online you can't "ninja" pick your fighter. With FNC many would give the impression they were going with a average fighter then quickly pick Isaac Frost and you couldn't stop it.

With UFC once your opponent chooses, even if you have already chosen, you have to ready up again. That is with unranked

Ranked is idiotic though. You cant see who he picked and end with lightweights fighting welterweights etc

I don't mean to double post, but I can see why stamina is a tricky thing to narrow down. If you can parry someone, they will stay with low stamina and it won't regenerate until they chill out. That leaves an open window to counter and it makes sense.

I think what would help is to really take down hit effectiveness when stamina is very low and also drop long term stamina if you make your guy hang out in that low stamina state.

I think the easy fix to help stamina is adjust nothing but ONE area.

Have ONLY long term stamina decrease with missed strikes. Leave the current stamina drain how it is base on striking that makes contact (slower drain). Yet whiffed punches, kicks, and highlight moves should drain long term stamina a nice bit.

This would force guys to pick their striking distance better, plus give a strategy to getting in and out of range (making people miss). By the 3rd to 5th rounds with a adjustment like this, I could see some winded fighters, rather than the extremely fresh ones we are dealing with.

This game has been out for 4 days and some people may have gotten it early. But can someone explain to me how there are people on top of the leader board with close to 3,000 matches played???
