I get that gang tackling is lacking - no argument there. Visuals and players look great. Field/stadium look great. Game at times looked lifelike. Will be very interested in seeing the demo later this year.

I didn't like how at 2:55 Frank Gore has a HUGE hole to run through. And instead of using his incredible footwork to mini sidestep his blockers to the right of him & burst through the hole, he instead ends up changing direction, running towards the left sideline in a lightning fast, choppy 2-3 steps to the left, right into the arms of a tackler. It could have been 6! Or at the least a 10 yard gain.

That really concerns me. That could ruin it for me. I miss the days of Madden (circa 2002, 2003) where ballcarriers weren't always at full sprints. Where not pressing turbo slows your steps, and allows your blocks to develop, and even defenders to over-pursue and even allowing you to cut it back or upfield. SMH

I'm debating the same. I skipped last year but was really looking forward to this year.

Ok, so like I mentioned on page one.. No gang tackles.. I'm not going crazy here. This is a big letdown for me. Graphics look great. Animations, relatively the same.. Ever so slightly better, but still stiff. Removed gang tackling.. How do you remove the essence of football.. realistic tackling.

And Rex actually issued a challenge to 2k? Just sayin. 2k must be like.. "Alrighty then, easy pickens".

Don't forget those helmets in the grass. Love that.

They got the Niners uniforms pretty good this time. Same P.A. guy since Ncaa football 97. How hard would it be to take audio clips from real stadiums or to have another broadcast crew come in. Sure you can keep Jim and Phil for the prime-time games, but get a few other combo pairs in. Or, have the ability to download announcer packs.

As far as the field goes, I do not see a difference there. Gameplay, seems like 25 with a few changes (FG/Punt meter, defense).

Still going to buy because I am a football fan, and I actually liked Madden 25 for PS4. You would think since NCAA series is done, they could come up with a way to combine the two and make a solid NFL game.
