Nhl 13 14 started the bs hockey era of nhl series , puck possesion and passning is not key as in nhl 12. Nhl13 was the Worst piece of crap , and nhl14 is pokespamming and dekes and breakaway bs. Bs gameplay especially in hut.

Ok, but this is a thread about authentic arenas in NHL 14.

At the risk of sounding like a corporate puppet, it looks like EA NHL got the gatorade permission back, that means authentic bottles on the nets instead of those blue EA Sport generic bottles.

Hopefully they have all the authentic arena names. Keep in mind in the past the teasers and pre-release game play footage has shown Arena names that didn't end up making the game. One year there were several shots of TD Garden and we were stuck with Boston Arena come game release.

I am really anxious to see Wells Fargo Center and the TD Garden.

This game is looking impressive on paper, that's for sure.

On the NHL site it said all 30 arenas. I am also wondering if the new home atmosphere means all 30 goal horns.

Unless you play in broadcast view.

I understand you're waiting for gameplay as we all are. But the arenas have been pretty blah and generic. This is a huge upgrade.

I'm impressed.. just panning around the arenas in between puck drops will do wonders for the immersion!

If the arenas and players look this good, plus there are team specific chants and goal horns.. This will be an amazing looking and sounding NHL plus there's better physics, hopefully we get better AI, neutral zone, and board play also
