Seeing is believing. All hands on deck. Well see what's up in October. I do hope it's WAAAAY better than the last one.

I think the game might have as or more stunning visuals like Madden, due to both games are developed in the same studio EA Tiburon. It wouldn't make sense, if those two studios wouldn't collab together on projects (titles). Dating back to a couple of months Gameplay Designer Scott Gallagher said that both teams have been sharing ideas. One of the fascinating things he learned from their conversations were, that the Madden team hired a former NFL O Line player, who helped improve the O Line for the game. I don't know if it did improve (because I haven't played it), but what I do know is that having two teams working in one studio should improve both titles in the graphic department because of the relationship they share at EA Tiburon.

Considering how much NBA 2K14 disappointed me last year, I'll be happy if Live is a decent game that EA can continue to build on and polish.

Right now would have been perfect for ea to drop a tease trailer while the finals are on

Hopefully it'll be better this year. Wasn't very impressed with last year. If 2k keeps going the way they are, I could very well be headed back to Live

I know it's not a typical view, but I really enjoyed Live 14 this year (I played it a ton), and I'm really excited for 15.

Ultimate Team was awesome. I thought it was very balanced in a way that I wasn't forced to spend real money, but I could still unlock packs at a regular interval. The online player vs. player was mostly unplayable, but the single player Ultimate Team was my favorite mode.

The shooting mechanic was nice but could definitely benefit from new animations. The momentum shots were miserably animated and transitioning from dribbling to shooting was awkward, but stand still jumpers were pretty.

My favorite thing was how I felt I could manipulate the team. I regularly used the quick plays (post sg, iso sf, etc.). Those always had me looking for mismatches. The PnR game was soooo close to being good. I like knowing how a team is going to react (ice, sag off, etc.), the way they will rotate, and exploiting the defense accordingly. The problem is that passing in a crowd is horrible. Pocket passes are extremely rare, but when you can land one it feels so so good.

I hope Live 15 does 5 things:
1) Post game needs to be introduced. Yes, that's the correct verb. I'm not saying "improved" because the existing form is not really a playable strategy unless you spam the up-and-under or use it merely to draw in defenders for open threes.
2) Momentum shots should animate better.
3) Training mode where I can practice plays!
4) The player vs. player online mode is so laggy in Live 14 that it isn't worth playing. Please address the online latency.
5) Better defense at the rim. Dunks and layups are WAY WAY WAY overpowered. KD and Westbrook are virtually unstoppable.

My potential deal breakers for Live 15:
1) Consistently laggy online mode.
2) Poorly animated momentum shots.
3) No training mode to practice plays.

I'm stoked for Live 15!!!

I'm routing for NBA Live to succeed but man do they have a lot of catching up to do. It would be nice to have two quality basketball games out at the same time for once. I will say that after how 2K burned a lot of bridges with the bs they pulled last year (VC, always online, no hhd roster saves, etc..) this is an opportune time for Live to grab some of the 2K loyalist. Hope they can pull it off.
