Yes, I definitely am glad Aholbert is getting the game early. Trustworthy when it comes to objective analysis. I will be be checking the forum frequently that weekend for updates.

I also agree that, as of right now, I feel like the controls don't make a whole lot of sense. Maybe it just requires some more playthrough tho.

Well I spent some time with demo and did 4 fights. New perspective. It's a fun game with some definite flaws.

+ graphics are great. Frame rate seems funny still but getting better.
+ I was getting kicked and punch in ribs and the body showed that.
+ I dropped Jones on a huge kick to the ribs when he missed a superman punch. Was awesome to see.
+ Blocking and countering actually feels superb now that I'm used to it. Blocking a high punch and countering it feels nice.
+ Knockout animations are actually pretty neat

- Ground game is confusing and I really dislike it
- clinch is same way. I don't understand how it works though
- Absolutey needs a running button
- refs do not pull you off.
- game sometimes feel sluggish
- some of the animations look funny when you both throw strikes

Overall, I said last night I hated it but more time. It's not that bad. Not great, I liked UFC 3 better but with full retail my mind might change as I get to play career and more fighters.

I will pick this up sometime. Maybe when it drops if money is fine.

This aggressive AI had me thinking this morning in terms of the career mode.

Your longevity as a fighter in this game is mostly based on the punishment you receive. It will be quite challenging I think on the higher difficulties to be elusive. Might be the perfect mode for this type of game. It will force you to be smart, because if you stand toe to toe and exchange your career will be pretty short.

I'm holding out hope either higher difficulties or a patch will fix the aggressive AI. I have hope they will listen to the complaints and tone it down at least just a little bit.

Do you think they will really patch this game? I mean Madden got patches and what not, but the NFL is not the UFC.. Football is not MMA.. I'm sure the sales of one vs the other will determine how much post launch love the game gets from EA sports when it comes to patching.

it is on easyyy thooo.... like how in depth can strategy be on the easiest mode in the game? got some issues on takedowns i will say for sure. but i will say i can already tell this will be the best ufc game released as of yet.
