Will be interesting to see if it controls better on the PS4. I have both so that will be the determining factor on which one to get.

People needs to keep in mine, it's a DEMO...which usually means EARLY stages of development release.

I really wish that this game would've allowed us to adjust the difficulty. Having that option would've answered a lot of questions for me. So far I like the game, but as everyone has already said, the CPU is ultra aggressive. I typically throw less strikes than my opponents do in fights, so that's nothing new. It's just that their pace is kind of concerning if that's the norm. We don't know if that's true for every fighter in the game though, so I'm not stressing it too much at this point.

The controls are taking a bit of getting used to, but after about 5 or 6 fights it's starting to click a little bit. I prefer striking with the buttons in an MMA games and using the analog stick in Fight Night, so I'm all good here. There's definitely quite a bit to digest though, but the tutorial does a good job of explaining things, and I'm sure it'll be second nature soon enough.

I'll probably be playing this more offline than online, but I think online heads will have a good time with this game. There was a guy online streaming fights of him going against one of his friends, and the action flowed very nicely. I'm sure that this is gonna be a blast with the right people. Hopefully EA's servers are worth a **** for this one.

On one hand, I do know a number of games that improved quite a bit from their demo version and final retail version, on the other, I also know quite a few that didn't. I expect the retail version to have some improvements in the gameplay but I don't expect everything missing from the demo (like scorecards and whatnot) to automatically appear in the final version. Hopefully they do, but just not expecting it.

I have only had two fights.

The first one actually was pretty cool, other than the fact that I hurried through the tutorial and completely forgot some of the grappling controls. Gus and Jones both had a knockdown and some strong moments in the first round, in the second I was able to knock him out via body strikes. That's cool, but it felt kind of easy. Again, I know it is on easy mode and everything, just my impression of my demo experience.

I had fun though, despite a number of flaws that everyone else has already pointed out.

I do agree that the more I move, the less hyper aggressive the CPU was. I always was big on movement and footwork in the last UFC games and I am constantly circling, feinting in and out, changing directions, the CPU responded decently well IMO. When I stood in front of him, yeah, it was an arcade smash fest. Definitely some animation sluggishness.

I am gonna purchase day one, as I planned on it, but will definitely be looking for flaws in the retail version to see if it will actually be a long term own.

Can anyone confirm/deny if leg kicks slow down the CPU aggressiveness at all?

I wouldn't be surprised if "CPU dynamic fight gameplanning, adaptive real-time A.I." is a big feature of the next release. Something like that, anyway.
