I would be interested to see if it did, it would take awhile to do it, but I am willing to try it! How much would you say it should be moved?

Honestly I dont know. Willard and the guys have more editing of The Show experience than I do. If we were aiming for a 8% increase in batting average, i'm not sure a 8% decrease in pitcher H/9 rating is a direct correlation. That's a question for someone with more MLB-editing chops, but I have a feeling that there are more factors at play. Guys?

Im moving it down 5 for now, we will see what happens. Ill prob be done in a couple hours! Im guessing the higher h/9 75 for example is better than say 70, right? I looked at guys like Kershaw and they were higher so im guessing higher is better!

Honestly guys, it would be in your best interest to let Willard take his time, comb through the rosters and get everything perfect. Why would you want him to rush and miss things just so we can read through another 100+ posts of things that were missed?

Willard, comb through this bitch good and hard, get it perfect and release it when you're good and ready. Everyone will still download it no matter if it's tonight or a week from tonight...

If you want to drop it by 8%...75 would move down to 69, for 50 it would move to 46...etc...

It won't be perfect...if it was there wouldn't be an eventual 8 versions of it....but it will be damn close and I'm willing to wait for that

We already decreased pitcher ratings and if you look at the numbers the /9 numbers match up with real life.

Guys the roster won't be 100% done by tomorrow, edits are almost done, but I need to test this out and make sure everything we have done still works - there are aprx 200 player updates not including the Pitch Edits.

The sim engine is not perfect in this game and no matter what we do with the ratings we still will have the same issues - it seems to change every time we run the sim.

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V1 Release

Willard, I noticed something interesting and wasn't sure if it's intentional or not. Some aging veteran players can actually improve significantly through the season depending on their ratings. I had Ryan Howard in a sim go from a 63 or 62, whatever he is, to a 76 by the end of the year. He finished with a BA around .240 or .250, 33 homers and over 100 rbi's. Not sure if the huge increase was linked to his pretty good production or not, but I just thought it was interesting to see a vet actually improve instead of decline.
