Below is just a compilation of suggested tweaks. I multi-quoted these to help separate them out from all the random posts so Willard and Co. can have easier access to them. All names are in bold so you can find them easier.

Little things that you might not notice (like removal of duplicate Jordany Valdespins) unless you're paying real close attention have all gone into countless hours of work. Kudos to you guys once again!!

To help with getting a more polished set with the pitch edits release upcoming, I thought I'd start consolidating the requests for corrections in this thread that I've seen as well as some of my own observations...(you guys have been working hard on these for a month and all we do is whine, lol ). Now mind you, these suggestions are completely ignorant of any algorithms you may be using to turn stats into ratings, but these changes should positively impact the roster as a whole.

Yasiel Puig needs large boost to throwing arm (maybe overall defense too)
Nolan Arenado needs large boost to all defensive attributes
Juan Lagares needs large boost to all defensive attributes (the guy is always on Sports Center)
Mason Williams B/T handedness are reversed
Marcus Semien is a bit too studly in sims...I'd recommend decrease to contract/power
Avisail Garcia needs his contact lowered (contact > 75 is for elites looking at other guys)
Nick Castellanos needs his contact lowered (contact > 75 is for elites looking at other guys)
Eric Hosmer needs his contact lowered (contact > 75 is for elites looking at other guys)
JP Arencibia I think you know...ahem, contact should be lowered
Bobby Abreu all attributes seem inflated (2002 version??)
Anthony Rizzo could use a small boost to vision/discipline
Darwin Barney needs contact lowered by about 15
Kris Bryant should have power comparable to Sano, Baez etc.. but is rated 20 points lower. Bryant could also use a slight contact bump. This Kris Bryant resembles Ty Wigginton more than Bryant, lol
Javy Baez hate to say this as a Cubs fan, but his power is too high by 5-10 points, he's too fast (87), and his arm strength needs a boost
Aroldis Chapman should be maxed on K/9, velo. Is only registering 9-10 K/9 in sims...should be closer to 15.
DJ LeMahieu needs his contact lowered (contact > 75 is for elites looking at other guys)
Dee Gordon needs his contact lowered (contact > 75 is for elites looking at other guys)
Andrew Cashner should probably receive a velo boost from 82
Mike Morse needs contact/power boost
Jonathan Singleton needs contact/power boost. Most advanced 1B prospect in baseball only has 49/39 contact.
Domingo Tapia could use velo boost from 68
Joey Gallo needs slight power decrease (his power is the highest in the whole roster set...more than Davis, Stanton, or Miggy...and he's yet to see an MLB pitch), needs boost in contact. He Ks a lot but not the low BA that people think.
Jean Segura needs his contact lowered (contact > 75 is for elites looking at other guys)
Derek Jeter his fielding is very slightly too high
Yangervis Solarte needs vision/discipline boost, small power boost
Dellin Betances is probably the most improved player in baseball, needs massive K/9, H/9, BB/9 increases
Brian Dozier needs power boost

I'm sure I didn't catch everything, so please suggest things that I may have missed to help Willard and Co. out.

Mauer is actually a very good player in this roster with 80s contact and 80s fielding but his 40 power rating knocks him down to a 78 overall. So its true to say DONT LOOK AT OVERALL.

A couple changes I would suggest would be giving Brian Dozier a power boost (as was mentioned earlier)... he is after all having an allstar caliber season with 11 bombs already. Also I think he should get a bit of a fielding boost as well, he's always been regarded as one of the best fielding 2B in the game.

Trevor Plouffe probably needs a very small contact and power boost, but where you have him now isn't too far off, he's just doing a bit of raking this season (finally), and is leading the league in doubles.

Also Danny Santana's fielding may be a tad too high, still fairly raw as a SS and i feel his fielding and especially arm strength is inflating him a bit.

Pitching wise, Kyle Gibson should have a higher stamina rating as he's gone through 7 a couple times this year, should definitely have better per 9 ratings and clutch than Correia and certainly Pelfrey lol.

Finally more of a wish but Phil Hughes has been insane this year. 4-0 in his last 6 with no walks surrendered in his last 44.2 innings. Possibly a boost to his per 9 and clutch as he has become unquestionably the twins best starter. Also Sam Deduno should now be listed as a starter, and Sam Fuld should be number 1 rather than number 5.

Thanks boys, as always a fantastic job! These are all minor details that I just noticed being a hardcore fan of the team. On another note, I'm happy with Buxton and Sano exactly where you have them. Thanks again for all the hard work this year.

I do have a few questions though
Is there a specific reason why George Springer potential was downgraded to an 87?
Also did you guys not edit Oscar Taveras? I assume not since he only has steamer projections and not Zips, IDK if you guys have addressed this or anything, or tested and found it worked out fine but it seems like he'll be over powered as he is the Cardinals best OF(not only in OVR, but also batting stats) and I doubt that he is currently better than Craig or Holliday irl.

Also Zach Thornton on the Mets should be sent to AAA and Vick Black should be sent up.

He is with the Tigers on OSFM and in AAA. He is currently playing in Korea. He's a F potential so it shouldn't be too difficult to sub him out.

How do you think I feel - I have well over 100 hours of edits this year

I actually set my computer and Ps3 up in my dinning room so I can see the tv in the family room - and convinced my wife I was spending time with them this way

Good list of edits. I also second the Cubs corrects suggested. Especially Baez's speed, drop that **** down to 50-55.

I still dislike how low the rbi numbers are, but as seasons move along, it will fix itself in the future I think!

Both of these posts can be answered in one - the whole thing with this roster is it is strictly based on ZiPs projections - there is a uniform base for all the ratings - no biased, no this guys is having a good year so we hammer up the ratings - everything is taken from ZiPs and applied to Knights rating sheets. And ZiPs is one of the most accurate ratings projections out there period, so it should give plenty of accuracy

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V1 Release

Pretty sure this has not been mentioned but what happened to Odor? I think he is 23 in this roster with a B or 87 potential which I have no problem with except the wrong age but Sardinas the SS seems to have the right age 21 but he has a 91 potential and I think they maybe they got mixed up with their ratings or something because he also has high contact ratings again this is off memory and I wanted to check it before I posted but wasn't able to sorry if I am wrong but wanted to point it out before they are done.

I can confirm this. Odor is a 23 year old in this set and Sardinas is 21. Sardinas is fine, but Odor is only 20 years old in real life. Sardinas does have high 60s contact ratings.
