With 5 teams to go and an assortment of FA and MiLB guys (most of which have no pitch edits to input anyway), it looks like maybe 3 hours to go until pitch edits are complete assuming ILFT continues to crank on the last teams.

It certainly seems like a release of V2 is possible tonight, but even if that doesn't happen, I would LOVE () to get my hands on the pitch edits version when you are done so I can run some sims to test offense/pitching balance. I am really excited to see how the pitch edits will affect things on its own.
We were just discussing the assortment. We will do all minor leaguers and only a handful of top-flight free agents we think will likely be signed. If we do not do a free-agent you want, you can always go to Seanjeezy's Google Spreadsheet, and input them yourself once you get your hands on the roster

I would like to think that a release tonight is possible. If it isn't, then it will definitely be out tomorrow.

Edit: For overalls, it did some interesting things. On the teams that I did, the most notable changes off the top of my head were Doug Fister and Stephen Strasburg. I don't remember Fister's original ratings (maybe someone can check for me) but he has a wicked curveball and change up, and it shot him up to being a 90 overall. Strasburg, who was a 91, went down to an 88, which was weird, but I think is very much attributed to how bad his slider is rated.

I agree that not editing all the FA pitchers is the way to go. If you run some sims, you see that 90+% of those guys retire due to poor FA market anyway and never have any impact on anything.

I apologize for not organizing all of these answers to match the subject, there are just a ton of posts - you guys were busy while I drove home from work!

I think these types of ratings they used are killer for a guy like Josh Donaldson, considering he just recently broke out after 1.5 years of mediocre MLB ball.
We have a list and have decided to look at ZiPs Updates to correct some players for this year - please don't send us lists of players - we have a hit list for this release

We did not for the first release - second release will look at updates

Mauer is actually a very good player in this roster with 80s contact and 80s fielding but his 40 power rating knocks him down to a 78 overall. So its true to say DONT LOOK AT OVERALL.

A couple changes I would suggest would be giving Brian Dozier a power boost (as was mentioned earlier)... he is after all having an allstar caliber season with 11 bombs already. Also I think he should get a bit of a fielding boost as well, he's always been regarded as one of the best fielding 2B in the game.

Trevor Plouffe probably needs a very small contact and power boost, but where you have him now isn't too far off, he's just doing a bit of raking this season (finally), and is leading the league in doubles.

Also Danny Santana's fielding may be a tad too high, still fairly raw as a SS and i feel his fielding and especially arm strength is inflating him a bit.

Pitching wise, Kyle Gibson should have a higher stamina rating as he's gone through 7 a couple times this year, should definitely have better per 9 ratings and clutch than Correia and certainly Pelfrey lol.

Finally more of a wish but Phil Hughes has been insane this year. 4-0 in his last 6 with no walks surrendered in his last 44.2 innings. Possibly a boost to his per 9 and clutch as he has become unquestionably the twins best starter. Also Sam Deduno should now be listed as a starter, and Sam Fuld should be number 1 rather than number 5.

Thanks boys, as always a fantastic job! These are all minor details that I just noticed being a hardcore fan of the team. On another note, I'm happy with Buxton and Sano exactly where you have them. Thanks again for all the hard work this year.
Thank you, I will check those guys, I had seen them mentioned before - plus I have Hughes on my Fantasy team - we won't be downgrading players like Nolasco yet

He is still a 3B for now, if the Blue Jays make him a full time 2B we will change it

I found the same thing - I simmed the default, OSFM1, OSFM2 and compared results to our roster as far as looking into the k/PA and bb/PA numbers for all 4 - something going on with the sim engine

Just answered this one above - I think - giving boosts was tried in all hitting areas and also through a variety of different categories

But yeah you're right, in the sims I was running, I has a lot of Oscar Taveras MVPs.
Taveras was missed by accident - our bad on that

If you use 30 team control and allow the CPU to control rosters or 40 man rosters they will get back in.

Willard said he tried to combat this problem, but in all his sims, he just couldn't and it was eating at him. Very interesting! Good job, guys!
Still bugging me tonight, but realize I can't fix it - we went as far as bumping up a handful of players 15 ratings points and while we got some better numbers on some sims - we got ugly numbers the next

Yes, I was talking to him today - he has been helping me create my hitlist of corrections

Which team was that - we may have missed promoting someone

I think a V2 release tonight is possible but I cannot say for sure. I don't know how many edits Willard wants to make, and I cannot say how many of the free agents and the minor leaguers we will do.
All depends on what time we get the roster back - by 7 or maybe 8, I could possibly have the edits done tonight, if not it will be tomorrow night

These were done as current rosters, being a Jays fan I really went over their roster with a fine toothed comb - Totte will probably fix those in the OD release

We had to do an updated version because of how many players we added and it was just easier to manage the roster as we went along - I didn't want to spend another day or 2 updating transactions on a roster

I found the slider seems to really have weight on everything pitching

In that scenario, the hybrid seems more accurate. Yes, Puig is probably going to hit upwards of .320, but no way he's gonna hit 40 homers. 25-30 sounds much more accurate for that.

Another thing I just noticed, was playing against the A's and Josh Reddick looks a little too good. Fielding and speed are fine but I think he needs a drop in contact or power or both.

Derek Hankins - needs to be taken off the roster.

He is with the Tigers on OSFM and in AAA. He is currently playing in Korea. He's a F potential so it shouldn't be too difficult to sub him out.
