What I don't understand is why you guys insist on buying a physical copy when you can rent it for $5-10 to tide you over until the download works. That's my plan, anyway.

No, I'm going to continue being pissed at Sony. I was told an issue would be refunded before I purchased the game at gamestop. However the support rep I spoke with failed to update my account stating this.

In this situation people have every right to complain. When you spend money for a product you expect it to be as good as advertised, or released when advertised. 12 hours later on a digital release is unacceptable.

Come on, man. Sony pretty clearly told him the refund would be processed. Now people are finding out that's not true from other support reps. Can you blame him for being upset?

This is one of the main issues I'm upset about. I was told by 2 different reps now that if I have a refund issued through my cc company, then Sony will issue a $59.99 debt on my account and my PSN account will be frozen until that amount is paid off.

Really? I imagine a bunch of suits sitting in a dark room right now, trying to think of creative ways to screw their customers.
