I remember a friend of mine pre-ordering Mercenaries 2 digitally, for it to not be released until 10 hours later. Digital rookies understand there are a few times it works perfectly, and others where it doesn't. Just remember that right now there is a group of guys working their asses off trying to get it out. This wasn't anything intentionally done by SCEA. They had every intention of getting it out by 12:01. I know we've been anticipating this for some time, but patience is key.

In my opinion digital is a means of convenience for those that don't have easy access to a store or don't want to make the trip. Never is it guaranteed.

because it was more of a long-term investment and I've just never really thought about going digital for a game before. sorry that's such a tough thought for you. thanks for the input.
