"including the most immersive defensive gameplay " - They've been saying this for years.

"Madden NFL 15 introduces a revolutionary crowd-sourced play-calling system with three distinct ways to run offense and defense: coach suggestions, Madden community picks, and concept plays providing a strategic edge to take on all rivals" - I love how they call this "revolutionary". That's so EA. Haven't they had this for years? And is anyone really clamoring for the community to make play call suggestions?

"Dynamic pre-game and halftime shows, in-depth player profiles, as well as enhanced on-field graphics deliver next-generation broadcast presentation" - Here's another one they say every year.

Honestly, this is the dame laundry list of "features" that they release every year.

What I mostly care about is the animations and player movement being realistic. As long as this game still has terrible animations, it will be a joke to me.

I don't like to be debbie downer for those wondering what "concept plays" are but what they most likely mean by concept play are the same old (boring, outdated, inefficient, unrealistic) pre-made play selection screens; they just gave it a fancy name now.

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed

I'm going to be interested to see how they handle the presentation.

It mentions teaming up with ESPN but tne thing I really don't want to see is a full ESPN broadcast presentation. While it would probably look really nice, I'd personally only want to see it for Monday Night games. It worked perfect for NCAA but there's only one game on ESPN in the NFL each week and then you throw in the fact that Nantz and Simms both do CBS games and it starts to become a bit messy. If they took old ESPN overlays and combine them into individual broadcasts for different games, that could be something interesting I think.

I started thinking about the Tony Bruno show and how awful, yet cool it was and how something could still work now. I wouldn't mind having something that resembles a radio show where somebody just talks about everything going on in the franchise. Scores, standings, leaders, etc. To me, that would be way better than a weekly highlight show.

The pre-game stuff has me way more intrigued than the halftime stuff. I've never really cared for a halftime show so there's not really much they're going to be able to do there that is going to keep me from button mashing through it. If they can achieve a good pre-game lead in though, then I'll be really happy. My only worry is that it will be tailored to play now games and as you move further into your franchise it will become irrelevant. Still wanting an in-game ticker showing scores and would much prefer that to game breaks of highlights.

Re: More Madden NFL 15 Details Revealed

I've been waiting for player lock ever since NCAA implemented it into their game!

Other then that, nothing really sounded that interesting to me.

Of course I'm excited for the new tackling and presentation, but I'll wait until I see actual gameplay first.

They are probably just going to add DL moves that they removed years ago and call it a new feature... no worries
